Console Patch 9th Dec ? (What did it do)

So I downloaded a file over 600 MB in size, got rather excited thinking some issues would be fixed and first I jumped straight into the map editor - Tried a saved map then thought maybe it was corrupted so tried a new one to find that Camera Auto Scroll set to OFF still does not work.

This below explains Camera Auto Scroll and why it is so difficult to use when set to OFF does not work.

Here is a video taken while making a map, this shows just how difficult it is to line up objects when Camera Auto Scroll set to OFF does not work.

Had that worked I would have selected a view where I could see what I need and maybe 10 seconds and the flag pole would be lined up and in place.

Every time I selected a view and then selected the item to move the camera went out of position (most people I know that use the FC2 / FC3 Editors always select Camera Auto Scroll to OFF as Default)

So luckily the new Edit By Coordinates helped but it is all guess work and you have to keep on checking which is long winded / tedius.

So what would / should take 10 seconds took almost 10 minutes, this is why Camera Auto Scroll set to OFF needs to work

Ok so I thought maybe the Temple Destructible door01 which is actually Un-Destructible might have been fixed.

Unfortunately that still is not fixed.

I had issues trying to raise objects in the FC4 Editor, although Camera Auto Scroll set to OFF does not work - if you have this set to OFF your items will not raise straight up & down, turning Camera Auto Scroll ON will allow you to raise items straight up and down (Crazy)
I have to admit I need to check this to see if the patych fixed anything reference this issue but not holding my breath.

    Grid Limit & Corpses

I think these should be looked at, how can 40 Dogs or 30 Human corpses max out a Grid Square - they appear static and don't do anything so unsure why they cost so much with their limit.

Then the penny dropped - ah my Single Player saved game where I can no longer purchase skills down the right hand column on the Elephant side - is it fixed.
So I jumped into SP and unlocked 2 skill points to spend them only to find that the points were taken but the skills were not unlocked.

So now I am left wondering what a file over 600 MB in size is actually doing - is there a break down on what this is for ?

Does anyone who published a map using the in game editor know if you can now delete maps that you no longer want in the database ?

So can anyone actually confirm that any of the above might get a fix and is there a date as to when COOP will be added to the User Created Maps ? (That will be a good day)

That video above shows the issue, I lost 10 skill points and didn't get the skills unlocked so after completing the game I started a new one and guess what the same happened - So I deleted the update which brought back the Pagan Min Convoys and allowed me to unlock the Kyrati Film Skill but those 4 in the same place are bugged for me.

I also wondered if there will be a way to get lights working during the day like in the Single Player Game ?

Currently lights only come on at a set time of day - in some ways it makes sense but when making maps under terrain or in caved during the day outside it would be great to have a way to over-ride this.

Well just looking in the editor I can now place 2 Start Spawns in a map, I am sure it wouldn't let me do that before - so it looks like coop support for User Made Maps should be coming very soon

At fallen champ not sure what you mean about not unlocking the 4 skills as you are unlocking them in the vid you posted. Look at the blue writing each time you unlock one you gain an extra 5 secs of time. This can be done 10 times so until you have unlocked each one 10x they will remain faded and only light up when all 10 increases have been made.

Fallen Champ posted a good list of problems in the editor. What the new patch fixed if not these?

At the moment this game is still too broken and unfinished that I can't buy it even if I would like to try to make some single player maps.

Thank you so much for explaining that minners71, I actually started a new game and lost over 30 hours because I thought it was a bug, I simply had not read the text and was complacent in just hitting X and wondering why I was losing skill points and not getting them flashing up blue.

I have been moaning about this for a few weeks now and you are the only one to put me right on this so again I really appreciate it.
I now just have 2 more to unlock with the skills, so it is working.

reference that patch it appears that God Rays are back also.
