I've been trying to make the refresh rate stay at 75hz in FB. I installed the RefreshForce ver.1.10 and followed the instructions to set the desired 1280x1024@75hz. When I start FB I check the monitors On screen display and it reads @60hz. Go back to desktop and I'm back to 75hz. Am I not doing something right here or does it just not work with OGL?
Any input is welcome. Thanx

Yes I went back and tried setting it to the 1280x960@75hz on the desktop but no go. after I did that the monitor says it's at 60hz even thow the display settings say 75hz. Crazy man!
I'm using an LCD display so maybe it just does'nt like it. I think I'll quit messin with it before somthing bad happens. Thought I'd try it and see if it made any difference in fps. Oh well. Thanx Coastie.

You should get the same refresh rate you can achieve at your desktop.
OGL is only sending a video signal after all

Hi,
I'm not sure if this will help but I found it just the other day.
I have a GF4 Ti4200 and when checking the frames at any resolution it would stay 50, make the refresh rate at 50hz.
To rectify the problem you have to change you nView settings to Standard. This prevents the card from locking the refresh to a standard TV signal rate. (50hz). I think it's due to the fact that when it clones your monitor to a second input device it sets the value to the lowest for compatibity options.
Refresh rate fix did nothing to cure it. Although the desktop ran at 75hz (my settings) the game ran at 50hz (UK Pal TV Signal rate)
Hope it helps.

I have tried the RefreshLock program also and still get the 60hz from the monitors display info as soon as I start the game. It seems that OGL wants this no matter what I do. Wierd.
I'm using a 9700pro with cat 4.1. Other games like LOMAC stay at 75hz. It must just be OGL. Thanx for the input guys.
