Even with the patch, the aim assistance is still broken. Please return to that existing efficient assistance in Far Cry 2 and 3, equal to the existing Borderlands ....'m avoiding playing Far Cry 4 for it. I play sitting on the couch and is very uncomfortable to use mouse / keyboard.
It seems that you improve a bit the enemy seek, aiming on hips, but that self-centering with iron sights really does not work !
I use official Xbox360 wirelles for windows.
I just forced myself to suffer through all the intros for the first time after uplay stopped allowing the -skipintro option, but now with 1.5 the shadows are completely broken...
On a GTX 970 the shadows are never where they belong, depending on the direction I'm looking they shift around. The Soft Shadows option causes it - is this somehow because they removed the NVIDIA option? Why was that done, anyway?
Prior to today's patch I had not had a single crash to desktop. After the patch I have had two in 30 minutes of playing. Running on a Core i7 on an Asus Maximus VI Formula motherboard with dual nVidia GTX 770 video cards.
First crash I was simply walking to a hostage rescue mission. Second crash I was performing a Supply Drop mission. I can't really think of anything the two crashes had in common. If the crashes continue at this rate this patch will have rendered the game unplayable for me.

Chris Drake
Another forum suggested that if you've edited your .xml file, to try deleting it to fix the shadows. (The game will make a fresh one) any luck with that?Originally Posted by JohnnyBB85 Go to original post
I have a wireless xbox360 controller. I also have a wired one. They are connected normally, no usb extensions or anything. I have to alt-tab out, or unplug and the plugin the controller in order to trigger events... any event. I read the patch notes and none of them mention this issue, yet I find people on lots of forms talking about it.Originally Posted by Decoy_0ctopus Go to original post
