surely a SLI fix is for nvidia to fix ? not ubisoft, or am i wrong and its down to the game company to fix a driver bug ?

You may need to restart your computer then make sure it is using the correct profile in nvidia inspector. I downloaded the patch then went in nvidia inspector to change the SLI profile back to default. This changed it to the shared profile that is used by a bunch of games like lichdom battle mage. Then I restarted my computer and when I opened up nvidia inspector again and told it to use the default profile for Far Cry 4 it changed it to a profile that is only used by Far Cry 4 "0x080040F5 (Far Cry 4)". Then I started up Far Cry and it ran great. No dark shadows, no stuttering even flying around fast in the gyrocopter. I have 2 970s and a 5820K with hyperthreading turned off.

It maybe worth it to delete your gamerprofile.xml file and let the game re-create it as well. Some people said it fixed it after they did that.
