I'm playing the XBox 360 version. I installed the game and redeemed the Hurk's Redemption code. It accepted the code just fine. This DLC is nowhere to be seen by me. I met Hurk early in the game, but there is no DLC.
When I go to the exclusive content tab, it's not there. My redeem code message is that it was already redeemed. I even entered a Hurk's Redemption DLC code I got from Amazon. Same thing happened. WTF?
I've completed the main story and am at 66.25% completion, and have only two achievements left: Changing Lanes and Brother in Arms.
I called Ubisoft support. They had me upload my proof of purchase and copy of the redeem code. Four days later, I got an email from Ubisoft Support today.
"Hello,
As promised here is your replacement DLC code. Thank you for your purchase and playing Far Cry 4 and I hope you enjoy your game and the downloadable content."
I entered this fresh code they sent and lo and behold, I got a message that "This is not a valid code. Please enter a valid code or try again."
I shot back my results with this code in the support ticket online and we'll see what will happen next.
If I get don't get a satisfactory response soon and a code that works, the next step is Amazon. I ordered Far Cry 4 from Amazon back in June 2014. I will be returning it for another copy to see if they have a good Hurk's Redemption code in it. If not, I will make a claim to Amazon that Ubisoft did not provide what was ordered, which was a pre-order of Far Cry 4 with the Hurk's Redemption DLC as advertised and get a refund.
This pisses me off as I like to get 100% on the achievements and I really want to complete this game. I've gotten 100% on Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, and have played all the Assassin's Creed games. I've enjoyed them all, but really, how hard is it to have a DLC code that works?
