How can I search for a user on uplay and view their profile?

So Im having trouble linking my live account to my uplay.

Ive used the user name b3nje909 for years..
Except for some reason when I went to make my uplay account I had to use b3nje989 as 909 was taken.

Tech support said I may of linked my live account to another uplay account which made me wonder did I once create a uplay account with 909

Ive found them on "friends list" but I have no way of viewing their profile (as far as I can work out)
Its quite possible this person is not me. And im cool with that. But if it is my old account, I curious to know what email address I used.

If someone (mod admin whatever) can view the account. Just list what games they (b3nje909) have played and I should know virtually instantly if its me or not.

    Hello b3nje989,

Thank you for contacting us. You can see a profile by adding the name of the account to the profile like, for example: http://uplay.ubi.com/#!/en-GB/profile/b3nje909

However, by default accounts have access to information about their games etc set to "Friends Only" so you won't be able to see the games the account has by checking there.

With that said, if you head to the Uplay website and choose to log in using the Xbox Live option instead of using your email address and password, you will be logged into whatever account your Xbox Live account is linked to. That way you'll be able to see what the account was called and if necessary, unlink your Xbox Live account from it.

    Huh?
I am actually curious on how to see profiles?

I have many friend requests on uplay and I cant click on their name to see the profile.
How do you look at profiles of friend requests?

Has this changed somehow, because if I try this, it doesn't work. There is just an ubi page with download uplay and manage account.

The new link to view a profile is through Ubisoft Club:

    https://club.ubisoft.com/en-US/profile/Sharv

    and replace the last part.
