I've been reading the forums and guess what? I'm another player who cannot even start my game which I just paid top dollar for. Having read the forums I am no longer surprised at the failure to send a ticket about my issue last night and I am no longer expecting any help from ubisoft with my issue after posting about it in the forums a couple of hours ago. I am not prepared to spend any amount of time disabling this and that within my PC's settings to make this thing work, that is not my job, as stated I paid top dollar so that was defo ubisofts job and having failed I now expect my money back. Does anybody know how to start the refund process without involving my bank? I cannot find it in uplay and so I'm asking the community, I believe I have until tomorrow morning too instruct my bank to sieze back the monies so I do have some time but it would be nice to be able to get it back now so I can get on with uninstalling uplay and all ubisoft titles from my PC....
There are no refunds on Games, UBI has paid top dollars to pass a law that says so (and of course, Retailers are nothing but happy of this as well). The only way you will get a refund is if you paid with a Credit Card and they back you up (many don't, most do). if they ask why, just point them to this forum and they will immediately extend a refund for you... DO NOT EXPECT IT FROM UBISOFT at any time now or in the future.
Why? they know most people will cry for a bit, toss the game to the side and ask Mommy for a new game, caring very little about the fact that someone just took their lunch money, most of these people don't mind getting [removed], matter of fact, they seem to enjoy it... go figure! :??
