    Thanks for all the work!

Is there anyway to identify which file contains any particular item, without looking through them randomly for the one/s you want to modify? TY!

Thanks! Maybe you should leave a copy on Nexusmods, as a resource? So other modders will find it.
+1 a resource to know what file we need to use would be very nice

I suppose someone will have to map it out and leave that info on Nexusmods as an additional resource. It's too bad there's no FC4 page yet, I've noticed people are putting FC4 stuff in FC3.

Knowing that the modding community will be on its feet, I finally had the courage to buy the game today. I'm a little preoccupied with a few other things, but I will try it soon. I will probably look into modding also, at some point. But I probably not for a while.

Actually I have created an application for this - it lets you quickly browse through all the .xml files and even filter the list.
I'll publish it here on FC4 PC discussion.

Can anyone recommend me a good text editor? I haven't done this in ages. Notepad's too... messy.

Oh, right. I had forgotten about that one, it's pretty old isn't it? Thanks for reminding me.

I meant old as in, it has been around for a long while. Anyway, you have my thanks. Messing around with the files now. Trying to figure out how to reduce the default walking speed to something that actually resembles walking. No luck yet.
