Well, my story is pretty normal. I'm a casual gamer, not an avid one, nor a competitive gamer. I just like to buy a game and enjoy playing it, win the game and then do some other stuff if there is something more to do.
Right now I'm stuck at the Burn Coburn mission, the crates part.
Honestly, I believe this is the worst mission ever here, and not just this one but all the Crates missions that were previous to this. I'm really frustrated about this because it's the fourth day of me trying to get past it and all I managed was to touch 77 crates at most, and that only ONE single time. I really don't think there is a strategy to get past this type of mission because if you are going too slow, you won't get in time to all the crates, and if you are going to fast, your car will spun out or slide out of control.
I'm frustrated about this because I'm really tired of wrecking my nerves and trying to beat the game.
I tried to find people to play with me, but every single one of them quit on me after the first part of the mission where you have to race to the crates.
I'm also tired to hear/read from people who say "you need more practice" and "you just have to get someone to help you with that".
Well, nobody wants to help and the practice isn't going well.
I thought that games were made for fun.
I'm disappointed that there is no difficulty level selector so you can go past a mission without having to trouble yourself with it.
I would really appreciate if the dev team would add this level selector so that me and other players who are annoyed of replaying a mission be able to get past it quickly.

Now, because there is no way for me to move forward into the story, I started playing the Faction races. And there I found the cheating AI that simply can't be beaten even if you were Flash, running faster than everything ever. Today I tried the "Coast to coast" mission and:
1. The AI cars are quite smart. After having an accident, a few of them managed to respawn 300 meters in front of me and continue the run.
2. If I happen to have an accident, I am respawned 200-300 meters before the place of the accident.
3. While racing through Miami (at the finishing part of the mission, and after an hour of road), I managed to get in front of the pack by more than 10 seconds. I was running at full speed (from 250 to 300 kmh).
The pack managed to get behind me in less than 15 seconds and overtake me.
My car is tuned to the max level: 1283. And the car that always gave me troubles was level 1260. The cars with level 1274 were at the end of the pack. I really can't understand the laws of physics this game is using.
I know it's an arcade, but overtaking me in less than 15 seconds, when I'm cruising at 270 kmh, and they're 10 seconds behind me, it's kind of a disappointment.
I mean those cars have to drive really careful and at impossible speeds to catch up so quickly while taking care of street corners and 90 degrees turns.
4. When colliding with traffic everything is weird. You can hit a bus at full speed and it only slows you down a bit, and you can nudge a car at full speed and it sends you tumbling through the air like a space rocket.
5. The AI cars are pretty powerful. I'm running at 250 kmh and a Dodge Viper "walks" by me hitting every single pole in the middle of the road, not stopping a single bit. If I am the one to hit the poles, I'm going to be slowed down. The same story is with the fences on the side of the road, you nudge them a bit and they're slowing you down like crazy. If the AI cars do the same, nothing happens. Also, the AI Circuit Spec cars are way too speedy on dirt.

So really what bothers me is that the game isn't challenging. It is actually impossible to play and enjoy without rage quitting.

I don't even know how to feel about this. I feel cheated, tricked into buying a game that is thought to bring enjoyment and fun, but all I get is a session of disappointment.
