I kept running into the #0_34 as well - and never actually got past this. I was almost ready to remove this game from my PC, using the uninstall option in the Ubisoft application. Next to the uninstall there was a verify file option, so I tried that, it ran for a while, and identified a number of unspecified issues (on a fresh install!) and then apparently resolve the issues, because the #0_34 error was gone afterwards
