I can't load my new user SP map.
I have tried the \map <filename> command at does not load them, but will load the game's original maps.

I saved the new maps into the Farcry\levels dir and I made them thier own folder. (maybe that is what I'm doing wrong?)

For exapmle: I download a map called "Fun". I create a folder called "Fun". I unzip the map to the folder and then paste the folder into the Farcry\levels dir.

I start Farcry and bring down the window with the tilda key. I type \map fun and nothing happens.

What am I doing wrong? How do I load these maps?

I am so new it hurts and this was the first time I did a task of this type. I did EXACTLY as the instructions indicated. I DIDNT create a new folder.The instructions didnt say to do that. Just extract and move to LEVELS. I think you already figured that out. I hope this helps. Some of these maps and mods help extend the life of the game . Farcry is the next generation of video games. Its was hard to go back to BF Vietnam and the other games I own. Post again if I didnt help.

um... extract the stufff... then copy the file with the level name (fun) into the far cry levels directory and that shud give ya happy funning
