Is something being done about usb failure?

Since Far Cry came out, I haven't been able to keep my G27 wheel plugged in while playing the game. Over 2 weeks have passed and no patch have addressed that problem? How can something so obvious not getting a fix and will it get fixed?

Si I'm the only one with that problem? There were lots of users with the same problem on launch and it's not been fixed. Anyone?

Hi there, this issue should have been fixed in the first Patch?

If you are still having the issue, please check you have the latest updates - and contact support.

Yes, contact support so you can add a Big Headache to your issues... LOL

Patching may do the trick, though don't expect a miracle... it is a bad console port after all.

I have the latest patch. On launch day, the game would not even start with the G27 plugged in. Now with the latest patch, the game start but my Xbox controller is useless as I can only navigate with the mouse. I play this game exclusively with the Xbox controller so that defeat the purpose. If I press any button on the controller, nothing happens. If I unplug the G27, all is good.

I fear that starting to contact support will just end up getting more frustrating than anything else. I never got a response from them from a question I had 2 weeks ago.

Talk about a pathetic and lame customer support.

Do any of you guys experience the same problem that I still have or has it been solved for you?

I never had problems with black screen but this thing about my G27 plugged in and FC4 not responding to my Xbox controller is making me mad. How pathetic can Ubisoft be in releasing a game like that. I just refuse to play the ***ing game until this is patched. I have tried many different thing to no avail and if Ubisoft think I'm going to unplug the G27 everytime I want to play FC4, I say look at my middle finger sit on it and spin!

My Xbox 360 Wireless controller behaves the same way. If I disconnect the charge cable everything runs fine for the game on my PC, I can max out everything turn on AA, Smoothing and all. If I plug it back into the charge USB cable things go to hell quick. I have to run the game with the game pad completely wireless, so I can only play as long as the recharge battery lasts. Its a NYKO battery so it holds up very well.

Make sure you unplug the 360 controller from the charge cable before you start the game, thats what I had to do, Cant charge the controller and play the game on 1.4 right now, just have to play until the battery dies.

I have 2 Xbox controller and I never thought of using my wireless one with the dungle. It's an original Microsoft dungle and not a chinese knock off and up to now I was always using my wired controller. So I unplug the wired one, plug the dungle and thought it would work after reading your post but no luck. I'm still stuck at the menu and can't navigate anywhere except with the mouse. Damn Ubisoft, you sure make the smallest thing so complicated for no reason whatsoever.
