edit: More info
Before this patch, i had no complaints at all, buttery smooth for me, stuttering was barely noticeable, now the game completely stops for some good 15-20 seconds and then super speeds up. Is there a way to redownload the previous patch?
TXAA gives me a significant performance hit.Originally Posted by Raztafarian69 Go to original post

- Find DisableLoadingMip0 = "0" and change it to DisableLoadingMip0 = "1"
- Find GPUMaxBufferedFrames="0" and change to GPUMaxBufferedFrames="1"
also if you are running a 60hz monitor that can cause stuttering as well... cheers.. 120hz+
TXAA has been broken since before the Day 1 patch, and still is. MSAA is less broken now though.Originally Posted by Raztafarian69 Go to original post
FoV is still forced to 65 for non 16:9 resolutions, and viewmodel's still don't have a FoV scalefactor so the game is still unplayable if you exclude the major performance issues. 2/3rds of my screen is taken up by my weapon. My FoV is fine for my monitor. But the models don't scale with it, so everything is zoomed in. It's sickeningly unplayable, regardless of performance issues.
Awesome patch. Fixed allot of issues. thank you DEVS!!! Remember folks to reset your settings in nvidia inspector and, delete the game profile directory in My documents. I did not do that at first and i was getting flicker, camera blur ect.
running EVGA GTX690 in SLI. 1980x1080 ultra settings txxa2x.

Hi, CPU bug remains by which one of the cores/threads maxes out and creates a bottleneck on many systems. Please address that for us, thank you. For those suffering the stuttering as a result, open task manager when in the game, then open resource monitor to identify the offending core that is being maxed out, then click the details tab, find the FarCry4.exe right click, select CPU affinity, then de-select the corresponding core number to the one which is maxing out, if your stuttering is due to this bug, that will fix it, this must be done each time you run the game.Originally Posted by xMiiSTY Go to original post
