    The money in Far Cry

I don't think it's a real problem but the fact is that we earn too much money in Far Cry.
We are supposed to be a survivor, far from home, in a wild and dangerous country and we are like Fort Knox !!! Just by looting the dead bodies and checking the map for treasures we can have more than 200 000. With that, the quests look useless ( why doing it when I am already full of money ?). Moreover, we can buy all the weapons and improvments directly without activating the bell towers. In a word we are ultra powerful and I think it makes the game too easy. This was obvious in Watch Dogs and I've got the same feeling here.

After, it's just a feeling, I love Far Cry so much but I had like that it evolve in a better way.
    Tell me what you think.

PS : If my english is pathetic, it's because it's not my native langage

I hope you are aware the ingame currency isn't dollars or euros, it's rupees, which has a terrible exchange rate. So realistically that 200.000 would only be like 4000 euros.

Yeah i know, i have almost all Weapons and my Money is always full and i not even got the final Moneybag, till i get it i probably don't need Money anymore anyway... So Money isn't a Thing that really limits you in that Game, you always have enough to buy anything, especially if you do all those Karmathings and loot all the Chests with stuff to sell, my 2 Million Bag was always full... lol!

The currency is not a problem (it can be dollars, euros, yens...). The thing is that I think that earning less money would be good for the immersion. I know that it's a detail but it's details which make a good game

Skip the chests, loot the rest and see where it goes.

If you need at a later time more money, you always can come back to loot the chests.

You know you also can buy weapons and stuff, and increase them, or even PAINT them ?

Or invest money in you're house ?

Did you know there are even BEGGARS to spend money on ?

There's enough to invest, check the whole game, and you will also receive rewards in other ways.

Don't cry mama if you have founded to much money.
Later on, you will need it. How do they call it ? There are money PITS enough.

Far Cry 3 method: Go outside and fire off all your explosives and LMG ammo. Buy paint jobs and attachments even if you don't really need them.

I think you get enough money to buy ALL the guns, if you do a little more than average looting during the game. There's a lot of guns and stuff. Buy everything and you won't be rich anymore.

I completely agree with you. For those who are thurough about finding all loot chests the amount of money available is extreme. They could make the chests still be fun to find but hold a lot less money and then those that are seekers would benefit and those who could care less would be stuck without the higher priced guns or? I have gotten close to 140K rupees upon arrival at Banapur, the first town and that is a rediculous amount of money. In far cry 3 your initial wallet would only hold $1000 and that wasn't enough to buy quite a few of the guns available. Whereas your initial wallet of 500,000 rupess is enough to buy ANY WEAPON including all signature weapons even tho they aren't available yet. To put it in perspective if your wallet in FC4 held 50,000 rupees it would buy most of the weapons available and you would be prevented from aquiring quite a bit of loot, which gets back to having much less loot in the chest or on the bodies of soldiers. I dont even bother crafting up the 3rd and 4th wallets cause theres nothing I cant buy with 1,000,000 rupees and i have to get rid of money very early on in the game. It goes to maps then weapons, then signature weapons ( i never use). I like the challenge of finding things but the money is excessive.
