As you all are well aware, collectibles can be seen from the map after purchasing their required maps from a trading post. These maps were the first things I purchased, as I always make it a point to 100% clear the Far Cry games.
However, the game seems to think that I haven't purchased these maps and I can no longer see them.
This has happened ONCE before, but i was easily able to fix it. I simply had to open my map screen and press "Y" for the toggle screen- a screen that allows you to decide what you want to show on your map and what you don't. From this screen I saw that for some reason my collectibles had all been disabled, even though it definitely wasn't me that did so. I simply toggled the collectibles again and everything was good.
Now after logging on today, finally able to play after working my *** off for the last week, its happened again. I can no longer see any collectibles on my map screen. I collected several propaganda posters without using my map before growing weary of this search for collectibles. ONLY THIS TIME I CAN'T TOGGLE THE COLLECTIBLES BACK ON BY PRESSING "Y" AT THE MAP SCREEN. I tried completing several missions, hoping that things would return to normal after an hour or so. This did not work.
Can anybody PLEASE help me with this glitch? I have tried restarting the console and the game several times, both online and offline, but nothing has worked. I would greatly appreciate any help, as this is basically a game-breaking glitch for me. I can no longer see all of the Far Cry world unless i stumble about randomly looking for collectibles.
