Hi, I use Momo Logitech Wheel. Since the wheel is quite stiff and I dont like it, I've changed Logitech Profiler settings as it follows : 122% general FF, and 93% The Crew settings FF.
Then in game, I've changed the FF all the way left (It means , 0 FF) and then just 1 tick on the right. That would be the minimum possible FF. In this way, I have quite a decent FF and the Wheel is fast and soft.
I was playing through the beta, however, it made it difficult to drive when I had force feedback that wasn't responding as I liked.
The Driving Force GT that I use on my PC is my main wheel until I purchase a new one, but it works quite well with the sequential shifter despite the small kinks in the force feedback when it works.
During the beta, there were many issues. The wheel would start moving side to side on its own when moving or when the vehicle was idle or it would lose all force feedback but keep resistance. Both were quite annoying as it is the feel of the wheel that enables me to drive well, so without any force feedback, it gets annoying.
I used 200-900 degrees of rotation with 100% force feedback in game and out.
I feel like the game would be much better with a wheel because I was able to get it working for a few minutes before it got possessed and tried to break both of my hands many, many times.
over at RaceRoom Race Experience, they overhauled the force feedback from Race07. when they did they enabled the vibration function and it makes the cars feel much better. engine vibrations, road vibration, even shifting vibrates the wheel.
you should consider programming the vibration function on wheels
for Driving Force GT wheel users on PC, my settings are:
Force Feedback slider set at -5 clicks (from far right)
sensitivity slider at 75% (-25 clicks from far right)
the "highest" slider set at 75%
this is with the Logitech profiler settings at 100%, 900 degrees, and "allow application to control settings" unchecked (this is important if you want 900 degrees, a checked box reverts to 200 degrees)
