I upped the linearity of the brake and accelerator and I go a whole lot quicker now!Originally Posted by LOL_Bockes1 Go to original post
this still hasn't been patched? the game is almost unplayable on a wheel of becuse of it.Originally Posted by Fi-Knite Go to original post
Nope, with the last update all latency problems actually have gotten worst for me. Huge amounts of input lag and a delay on force feedback. Degrees of rotation doesn't work, still only 180° so no 1:1 steering. Force feedback is still feels weird, especially very light on center. Also button mapping isn't complete on a Logitech G25. So experience with a wheel is still very disappointing.
To fix 180 degree rotation to 900 degree you need to go into your logitech profiler and change the universal settings to have the game not able to change wheel settings. If your wheel is unplugged mid game you must restart your system otherwise the wheel goes back to 180 turn when it is plugged back in.
Hope I fix your problems Logitech wheel users!
So does anyone at Ivory Tower actually care about the horrid FFB on console. I've got a decent setup for road driving but the wheel feels way lighter than it should, and going off-road in a Raid car is an absolute nightmare. The FFB is way too strong and jerky off-road in comparison to driving on road, you need to increase FFB on road for a good feel and decrease it drastically off-road to avoid injury. Everytime I have to drive off-road I have to switch to the controller which is unacceptable.
At this point it's an utter joke that wheel users are being treated this badly. Can we expect wheel improvements with the upcoming Wild Run expansion or not?
My suggestion would be to allow us to adjust FFB and Wheel Weight INDEPENDENTLY, this would get rid of the light steering issue that we have to put up with at low FFB levels. Also, the difference between on road FFB and off-road FFB needs to be reduced a little bit. I get that off-road should be more agressive but at the moment it's way too much, and adjusting FFB to feel comfortable off-road results in zero feeling on road and steering that is to light.
Yes the G27 settings need some work and now the G29 G920 wheels will need improved support. When I was using a CSW v2 the ffb was really quite good. However G27 has a tendency to have a ffb dead zone around center and this is more noticeable with different cars which would suggest car physics play into it. I find now that the cars have waggy tails like with NFS Shift titles and nobody liked that IDK if it is trying to be some weight transfer suspension effect but it sucks donkey balls. Plus I think the FFB has a lot of oscillation around center and at times the wheel will oscillate erratically with your hands off the wheel and car stopped. The biggest problem is that this causes too much instability in the car handling. This is not a simulation game with a bunch of hard core nut cases wanting to slide off the track on every corner. Me I would rather have some sort of sub lime handling model with subtle but noticeable effects at a difficulty that's main stream medium. Some thing that feels good to drive and can handle being put to it's limits. I think The Crew is an incredible game but my level of enjoyment took a major hit when I went from a CSW to a G27. However this is not the case in all games and in many games it feels quite nice and comparable to a basic experience as I had with the CSW. It can be done and should be done for a more casual base using less expensive sim wheel controllers. This is the first time I have played since july 17th when I use to play every day with my other wheel. It's that bad.Originally Posted by CheezHybrid Go to original post
