works great wirh driveclub. but with the crew. with my experiences. its horrible. just awful.
you can not play it with alot of force feedback you really have to tone down your force feedback setting if you dont want to dislocate your wrist.
The differences from on road to off road are massive. to play on road and actually enjoy the force feedback you need to turn the force feedback up. to just over half way. or half way. which is a reasonable setting. but. if you go off road all of a sudden your wheel will with great force yank the wheel out of your hands.
it is unplayable and you have to turn down the force feedback settigns to a very low setting. 3 or 4 clicks from the left. meaning the wheel is really really light. and you cant feel anything hardly. but when you do feel something offroad or you catch the kerbs. the wheel wont be yanked out of your hands. and thats how it has to be played. also put linerity on full.. to fix the steering.

like most of the need for speed games. no time or effort has been put into the games wheel settings. its such a shame because i do really like the crew. also like most wanted. but at least with most wanted on pc i can get a mod to fix the steering. but on ps4. where you would expect a finished and well polished game. well simply not getting that.

i was told by someone that thrustmaster is working with ubisoft or ivory tower. who ever needs to be worked with i was told they was working on it.
this was months ago. and i havnt seen any updates. and the steering issues are just the same as they always have been. BROKEN.
these issues was known about in the beta. and the game came out with a promise that these issues would be fixed. that was a lie. and they havnt been fixed.
so that shows already that its not a great concern to them once they have there money your stuck with what you paid for. we need to stop buying pre orders and buy games when we know they work right. then we just might get some quality games again. and bonuses in a game that actually worth playing. and buying. and we just may see demos come back. why they need to put so much money into adverttising. when they can show us a playable demo. and use the advertisement money to actually build a decent game. and not pay PR men to trick us into buying crap we dont need or want.

id really like to know if they are working on it. and if they couold give us any information on how long thats going to be.
and if there not going to fix it. id appreciate it if i could get my money back.

cause i spend all this money to enjoy games. and at the moment i cant enjoy the crew. £400 for ps4. £350 for the wheel £60 plus dlc for the crew. £150 for the logitech dfgt that i cant use on my ps4. and this is what we get. crap.
if you havnt got it yet. i wouldnt get it if i was you. wait for something thats more enjoyable. project cars is coming soon. and they have done some great work with force feedback as any racing game should. or driveclub for now. which is also done very well. i dont remember any need for speed games that have ever had decent steering. and working force feedback. so i dont know if it will ever be fixed. i expect they will just take there money and go build some more crap. we cant enjoy

I think it is CamberOffset you should play with. Lower it, tons.

^^ That thread does not apply to the ps4.
PS4 and PC implementations are miles apart for the t300rs.

After recent patch im having sooooooo much problem making the wheel work as it should (and did, before patch).
The Crew seams to disregard the extraconfig plus logitech driver profile.

    GG...

To ubisoft & devs: We players did not change anything. So stop telling us "did you install the newest driver, did you try this and this and this". Man up and be honest. You broke a part of the game, admit it and most importantly... listen to feedback and get to work and fix whatever you messed up.

    I wanna drive!

Giving this a bump as I'd like to know if the developers are going to work on improving the ffb around the center of the wheel. My feeling is that there's no resistance for the first 45 degrees & the ffb is completely non existant. When ffb is applied it's far too strong & far too jerky, It should be smooth.

This post isn't a complaining post at all because I surprisingly like using the wheel in TC but would appreciate if the devs put more effort into improving ffb.

I would love an update concerning FFB; I stopped playing this game for a while because if I played Raid or Dirt, my wheel would lose its center until I'd be driving with it turned 180° to the left as "center". Granted, this is a known issue for the G27, and I fixed the hardware issue, but now I just have incredibly jerky FFB that sometimes causes me to wreck when I'm driving Perf or Circuit because of the ridiculous overcompensation I have to employ. There's almost no feeling with any of the light cars from -45° to 45° while on a regular road, but as soon as you touch something the wheel will rip itself out of your hands. At least the trucks have "heavy" steering, so there's FFB throughout the entire range of motion of my wheel.

Not to mention the fact that if you want 1:1 steering with the in-game cockpit wheel, you're limited to 180° of full motion, which is waaaay too little, especially when it's compounded by the non-existent FFB at wheel center and the crazy jerking motions employed by FFB.

I had to set FFB really low on my Logitech DFGT because invisible speed bumps on certain asphalt tracks kept shaking it big time. Of course that means I can hardly feel the road anymore, but I got used to it, after all that is how The Crew handles everything, in one of the worst possible ways.

Oh and for some reason FFB was out of control until I enabled centering spring in the Logitech drivers but set the value to 0.

I love using my G27 on PC. The game would not be the same without it or a similar wheel. A keyboard or controller just doesn't do it. Having a wheel has its pros and cons. One of the glitches or problems I have is the inability to stall your car. You can grind your gears, but you can't stall. It just makes it too easy! Sometimes my wheel will start doing random spinning when I am stopped in my car. I can stop it easily but it will always happen again. Sometimes I see that people in cars 80 levels below me in the same spec and car as me go faster than me, are they hacking or is it just that PC support for wheels is a bit stuffed?
