So. i went out and bought the thrustmaster T300RS. £345Originally Posted by spence123456 Go to original post
works great wirh driveclub. but with the crew. with my experiences. its horrible. just awful.
you can not play it with alot of force feedback you really have to tone down your force feedback setting if you dont want to dislocate your wrist.
The differences from on road to off road are massive. to play on road and actually enjoy the force feedback you need to turn the force feedback up. to just over half way. or half way. which is a reasonable setting. but. if you go off road all of a sudden your wheel will with great force yank the wheel out of your hands.
it is unplayable and you have to turn down the force feedback settigns to a very low setting. 3 or 4 clicks from the left. meaning the wheel is really really light. and you cant feel anything hardly. but when you do feel something offroad or you catch the kerbs. the wheel wont be yanked out of your hands. and thats how it has to be played. also put linerity on full.. to fix the steering.
like most of the need for speed games. no time or effort has been put into the games wheel settings. its such a shame because i do really like the crew. also like most wanted. but at least with most wanted on pc i can get a mod to fix the steering. but on ps4. where you would expect a finished and well polished game. well simply not getting that.
i was told by someone that thrustmaster is working with ubisoft or ivory tower. who ever needs to be worked with i was told they was working on it.
this was months ago. and i havnt seen any updates. and the steering issues are just the same as they always have been. BROKEN.
these issues was known about in the beta. and the game came out with a promise that these issues would be fixed. that was a lie. and they havnt been fixed.
so that shows already that its not a great concern to them once they have there money your stuck with what you paid for. we need to stop buying pre orders and buy games when we know they work right. then we just might get some quality games again. and bonuses in a game that actually worth playing. and buying. and we just may see demos come back. why they need to put so much money into adverttising. when they can show us a playable demo. and use the advertisement money to actually build a decent game. and not pay PR men to trick us into buying crap we dont need or want.
id really like to know if they are working on it. and if they couold give us any information on how long thats going to be.
and if there not going to fix it. id appreciate it if i could get my money back.
cause i spend all this money to enjoy games. and at the moment i cant enjoy the crew. £400 for ps4. £350 for the wheel £60 plus dlc for the crew. £150 for the logitech dfgt that i cant use on my ps4. and this is what we get. crap.
if you havnt got it yet. i wouldnt get it if i was you. wait for something thats more enjoyable. project cars is coming soon. and they have done some great work with force feedback as any racing game should. or driveclub for now. which is also done very well. i dont remember any need for speed games that have ever had decent steering. and working force feedback. so i dont know if it will ever be fixed. i expect they will just take there money and go build some more crap. we cant enjoy![]()
Hey guys! I recently got a Thrustmaster T80 for my birthday and I was wondering if you guys who have the Thrustmaster T80 could share your best settings for the wheel to me please? I want my wheel to be properly configured to the best of its ability before I use it to play this game! Thanks! Basically, i want a somewhat of a realistic forza-like feel when driving with the wheel, so settings around that would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Platform is on PS4 in case you were wondering![]()
hi. the T80 from thrustmaster is a simplle wheel that has a bungie cord inside it. to give you a relistic driving feel. at least thats what i read.Originally Posted by XxGOT_NUTZxX Go to original post
am not sure how much settings will help you i think your wheel will just work as it is. and to be honest thats a good thing. becasue as things are at the moment not many games that are set up with decent force feedback settings so you may actually get a better feel with the t80 than we can get with t300rs and t500rs.
but keep looking around and you will find someone who has a t80 and give you some info. happy gaming.

I hear you. when ubisoft say there working on it, it means they talked about it in passing. nobody actually doing real work on it. Lol.Originally Posted by PunkleJones Go to original post
they just cant get anything right latley. i am dying to see what happens with the division. if that game is broken people are going to be pissed. am not going anywhere near it until i know for sure it works.
we have got to stop buying pre orders. it doesnt help. there taking away your buying power. meaning no matter what they give you on release day. youve already paid. this is suppose to be honnerable.. we trust in them. but that trust is very misplaced. cause no friends in buisiness. we need to stop buying into there crap. whats the point having extra guns or extra cars in a game if the game itself sucks or doesnt work. id rather see a playable demo in a magazine. and then on release day. see a review of be able to play it instore. or see a friend play it, just cant trust these big game companys anymore. and there finding more creative ways to rip us off. and sell us garbage we dont want. have they got no pride. what happened to gaming. was it mr pr guy. what happened. its 2015 and there bringin gout games that i could have played on my amiga. or early playstation. there just is no great games. there is alot of failed games. but i like the crew. it could be good. if they fixed the steering issues. and force feedback. guess i should have got it for my pc instead. but too late nw. i got it for my ps4. ive heard nothing about them actually getting the fix done. no info what so ever. just rumours and hear say![]()
Yeah. Flat-6 (Boxer) thereby the name Porsche Boxter.Originally Posted by This_Is_Stan Go to original post
Using a g25, unfortunately I started the game with keyboard/mouse so I had to import a control XML file to get the binds to save. But now that it's working it's one of the best I've ever played with it. Even though it doesn't support 900* of steering, I can now safely say that the game almost requires a wheel.
