    Profiles

Does anyone know if there is a way to have more than 1 profile? Save Games? Like far cry 3 which allows you to have 3. Cheers...

As limited and unsatisfactory as the save game system was for FC 3; for whatever reason, Ubi decided to make it worse and less user friendly in 4.

One save.....................and that's it. If it gets corrupted.......................you'll be playing the WHOLE game over from the start. I, as well as others, back up our save file manually (daily for me; others do it several times/day). I strongly recommend you do so as well. Good luck!

save file: computer>x86 program files> ubisoft>gamelauncher>savegames>"long number"> hit open and hit 420 file folder> then you have save and save.upload files

My experience with the save game files is that the sysem is total crap. You can do a save game by using the files in the 420 folder and it will work but..... In FC3 you could do a save game at any point the flahing pistols appeared to indicate a save (especially by buy and selling at a gun cabinet first). In FC4 its the 2 golden kvives in the upper right that indicate a save, but.....it doesnt actually work that way all the time. The game saves from check points and golden knives WHILE YOU ARE PLAYING IT.. So...if you die you will go back to after the checkpoint but...If you save and quit you wont. If you do a save from the 420 folder it will recognize your progress in the game and place you in a position AFTER the completion of your last mission and not at the completion of your last checkpoint reached which makes the checkpoint system worthless except if you are actually playing the game and not doing a save and quit option expecting to come back to your last checkpoint reached AFTER your last mission was completed. It does remember your progress, etc. and what your available guns, skills and crafted bags are. Interesetingly the KB are extremely low like 50 KB in the save files so why couldn't they have added a few to indicate the completion of your last checkpoint?
Still your brother or you could start a new game and have 2 separate and independant games running, with only the loss of a bit of gameplay by using your own save game folder. Then only save the game after completing missions and I would then go to a gun cabinet and buy and sell a few things right after completing the mission to seal the deal before save and qujit.\
I would create a desktop folder FC4 save games and then subfolders for the different games you want active and then right after saving and quiting your game copy and paste the files into another subfolder under your or your brothers or your second games name. Then if you wanted to change the game you would go into the 420 folder and delete the save files and paste in your copied files and when you start up the game you will be in the game you saved.
