People on youtube have Nvidia fur, Why not us ?

I was browsing YouTube and noticed 1 guy has the Nvidia fur enabled and not the fuzzy mess we have ingame and he demonstrates this in the editor.

I'm guessing he has the "unofficial" version, So when do we get the fur re-enabled as it was advertised in one of the Far Cry 4 pre-release Nvidia tech videos.

Sure I read somewhere that hairworks was included in one of the patches then pulled after about an hour, however I could be wrong.

really is a useless feature that doesnt belong in a game.

by the time you got close enough to see it,the beastie is chomping on you..

I'm hoping it was pulled due to a bug so they put it back in soon.

You can turn on Nvidia Hairworks just by using the FC4.dll file of the 1.4 patch that was briefly available, then pulled. This of course means, Hairworks is actually in the game already, it is just disabled. If you use that .dll you cannot connect to Ubisoft services though. Maybe a clever modder can figure out how to enable it,
As for Ubisoft, they aren't planning to include it any time soon:

It was pulled due to performance impact it had. While everything was nice and pretty with 1 or 2 animals, 5 caused major slowdowns. Mind you, it's possible to stack 10 or 20 animal corpses in 1 place making game slide show. I don't see them implementing it back without some kind of limitations.
