While I understand that you are awaiting Online MP which is currently in Beta on PC, I would be elated if a cure for cancer were available before Online MP comes out. I'm sure that 99% of the world would be. Heck, if someone said "You can have a cure for all types of cancer or Trials Fusion Online Multiplayer. Whichever you don't choose will never be available", then I would pick the cure for cancer 100% of the time.
Online MP is being worked on in a fairly visible way. There are streams that you can watch live or even VODs of past streams. Online MP isn't quite ready for a "full launch" just yet, which is the reason for the beta.
