I have played this morning some slots and now i started trials again... just to see it started from beginning.
I didn't uninstall/reinstall, didn't clear cache or anything... didn't touch memory cards, do phone restart or or any updates.

Lucily I got all back after loggin on uplay

But the reason why this did happen? What is the cause?

Don't worry mate, it happens time to time.
The cause maybe is that the phone automatically clear the cache in case of low space, or maybe the cause is you have installed a real-time cache cleaner app.
The conclusion, don't worry as long as your progress is stored in the cloud storage.
