Whenever I play a video game, one of the joys I have is being surprised, another one is taking in the view and the locations. That includes being surprised as to where I should go. I am more so unhappy with the nonexistent options to at least remove the oponents, including dragons, from the HUD. I can leave with some amount of deaths from not knowing where the dragons, human oponents and predators are.

Especially BAD is that I am always CONDITIONED TO LOOK AT THE MINIMAP to see where the dangers are. Therefore I get NO IMMERSION IN THE SURROUNDING COUNTRYSIDE which is beautiful by comparison to the blips on the minimap. I played all through Grand Theft Auto IV and Assassin's Creed 1 without any radar or minimap. Get lost, open the world map, have some objective I can't find, explore the surroundings fully, then open the world/city map.

This is just silly. Please Ubisoft, patch in the option to remove the radar blips or the minimap in it's entirety, even for a 2 years old game. I just bought it anyway, but scouring the internet for hours on end for ways to at least disable the HUD isn't my way of feeling good about a game. I would ask for that kind of option to disable the minimap to be present in any and all games that are released in open world franchises by Ubisoft.

Anyone who agrees with me, bump to get some attention to this thread.
