    shortcomings ingame

Ok guys, First of all i love the idea of an open world shooter on a beautiful setting. But in my oppinion the game is far from perfected.

    Day/night cycle
    1. First of all the cheap, day and night cylce. This cycle only advances when a player moves the mouse or walks. when standing still the cycle stops. Its stupid to say the least!
    2. Second when the night comes in, it gets dark not slowly but almost instantly in wich it gets so dark all of a sudden the screen is almost completely black. Then when you keep moving after 10 seconds the moon comes in play and it gets so bright again that you can almost mistaken it with daylight.

I dont know what you guys were thinking here but this day and night cycle is pretty broken. I know its insanely dark in the jungle but then keep it that dark and let players use a flashlight to navigate through the wild. Wich also gives a nice feel of danger to it, in wich you could be attacked from out the dark every second. This way it becomes more dangerous to actually wonder around at night.

    Animals/plants/trees
Animals move allot more natural in FC4 but still i dont understand some things. The other day i was running around in the jungle and i see a pig get taken by an eagle, wich blew my mind. it was stunning to see it happen. So i followed it in the air and after a few seconds the eagle dropped its meal and flew to the next pig to do the exact same over and over. It would be more realistic if the animals were really feeding on eachother having a breeding place or something wich they take their prey to. Also wild dogs, lions etc. do the same. they attack their prey kill it and leave it. Its to bad that there was no eye for detail in this... A lion should start eating its prey or drag it to a hole where mother lion and his small offsprings are. not kill it and leave.

To go even further it should be possible to re spawn a vaste ammount of different species on the world that goes its natural cause. Getting new offspring making nests, feeding of eachother. Hunting like i did yesterday should be allot harder. i needed 4 bears yesterday i ran through some bushes saw one. killed it. run 100 metres away came back and another one was spwaned 4 times in a row. its too bad that things like this happen. It should be very hard to find and kill animals. With the animals catching your smell and you have to keep the direction of the wind in mind.

The game is pretty boring because it has almost no new elements compared to FC3. its more of the same, and things like i wrote above could actually make the worl feel more alive.

Last but not least the AI in the open world is terrible i have seen my tribe run over allies crashing into trees driving against a wall and stuff like that.

It looks stupid and doesnt gove the feeling it should... that the world is alive.

Be happy that you get to play the game, others can't even do that... I take it the patches have solved the aim/shoot mouse issue? or are you like others that are having a hard time with it but rolling with the punches nonetheless.
