to be honest, mobile video cards always have issues. could be the game, could be the drivers, could be windows. can't help you there, you should try searching the forum for laptop/mobile cards related posts and you should have included in the title of the thread the fact that you are trying to play it on a laptop. that way people with with similar issues can easily find it.
Not fixed yet(AMD exclusive error on mobility cards with dynamic switch mode). The only solution is to deactivate the Intel GPU through BIOS or a FN key combination(e.g. FN+f7 for Alienware). This bug is caused by the switchable graphics. If you can't deactivate it completely you will have to wait for a patch/driver update. It is the engine/shaders causing this problem I think, since Far Cry 3 and 4 were two of the few games that I had any issues with my AMD card and the switchable graphics. I have already sent this issue to AMD, hoping they might come up with a fix(Chances are bad tho since they haven't even fixed the full screen flickering yet, which requires the use of modded drivers or a DX9 Fix.).
This bug has also been noticed in the leshcat forum(http://leshcatlabs.net/forums/viewto...=656&start=140), maybe someone there will come up with a solution. Until then you have to live with it or wait till you can play it properly.
EDIT: And that is not true that mobile cards always have issues...except for the flickering(which can be fixed) and Far Cry 3 and 4 I never experienced any problem with my mobile card on any other game. Honestly it is a joke: This issue is known for 2 years yet they brought it back and I blame Ubisoft for not testing the PC version to any extent(we all know how ****ty it has been released(Control bugs, Mouse acceleration etc.)).
best regards
Huh? How can you fix it in version 1.0? You can roll back to version 1.0. Go to the game directory(where uplay saved it) and go to Far Cry 4\data_win32\ and rename patch.dat and patch.fat to something else like patch.dat.bak and patch.fat.bak(not sure if patch_hd.dat and fat have to be renamed tho). And start it through the executable found in Far Cry 4\bin.
