If there's anything to Longinus' last words, it seems we're headed for So America. Something Peru-like would be very fitting since it covers everything from the Amazonian jungle to mountain peaks of the Andes that rival those of the Himalayas, to coastal areas.
And it doesn't stop there. They also have a history containing similar elements to the ancient civilizations we've seen in recent Far Crys by way of the Incas and Machu Picchu.
The wildlife is abundant as well (pumas, jaguars, bears, anacondas, caimans, tons of birds, fish and frogs, including the infamous piranha and poison dart frog, and even river dolphins, and on the coast, whales.
I'm all for South America, a North Atlantic island (think a hybrid of Iceland, Greenland or something like that) or possibly the desert/Middle East. Wherever it ends up, I hope there's more of the mythical acid trips like in FC3 and FC4, something that goes deeper in the myths and legends about the country's history. I love the Shangri-La parts a lot, that should totally be a full game.
This is where Australia would be perfect. The dreamtime.Originally Posted by trapezius1 Go to original post
The fjords of Norway and some of Greenland's vistas are beautiful, as well as Australia, which is a rather unique ecosystem of it's own, but the reason I think something Peru-like will be next is not just what Loginuis said, but that the last two have had jungles along with the mountain peaks. In fact pretty much ALL Far Cry games have had jungles. It's a FC staple. So of those, Australia would be most fitting, but it's mountains are not as epic as what the Himalayas or the Andes offer. It would end up being more like the African installment of FC2, which was mostly samey terrain wise throughout the game.
I am loving Far Cry 4, So I don't agree with you or any of the other constant complainers here.Originally Posted by swavage415 Go to original post
South America would be cool. They have a lot of terrain and wildlife to exploit. Plus some of the most hallucinogenic drugs available. While I wish there was an "open-world" Vietnam era shooter in the spirit of Far Cry, South America sounds like a fun setting.
Why are you so butthurt? The game is fine, It's easily one of their best games this year. Do you hate it because it's not your stock-standard Call of Duty or Battlefield?Originally Posted by swavage415 Go to original post
The REAL fans of FarCry are disappointed with the multiplayer..Single player and co-op are secondary in the series..Originally Posted by BeastAndAMidget Go to original post
