How to take screenshots through uplay?

The game launches through steam but then automatically launches uplay. (Ugh) normally I could press f12 to quickly snap a pic but how do I do it through uplay?

From the UPlay window, click on the little gear icon (upper right) and select Settings. On the left, go to Other. From there you can set the screenshot hotkey and save location of the images.

I tried that and I'm not getting any notification of pictures saving and a picture doesn't save to any of my folders. Made my key f3 and no pictures were saved.

Hi frank_w00ds and welcome to the forums.

To ensure that you're able to take screenshots, please ensure that you have the Uplay overlay enabled.

To do this please open the Uplay settings (by clicking the cog icon in the top right hand side) and going to General. You should see an option to ensure that the overlay is enabled for supported games.

Once you're in the game, click the button you have associated with screenshot. Once a screenshot has been taken, you should get a notification that the screenshot has been taken. Your picture should then be saved to your "My Pictures" folder, under a "Uplay" folder.

If you have any additional difficulties taking screenshots, or you continue to have issues, please create a support ticket here; https://support.ubi.com. Please ensure that you provide as much information about your issue as possible.

    Thanks.

Trust me, I submit a ticket on Wednesday (and still haven't gotten any response) I haven't even been able to run uplay in the background at all. Can't access it, can't play online. Very disappointed with the product I paid for so far.

It's located in the My Pictures/Ubisoft folder WITHIN the Documents folder, not My Documents, at least on my system. My beef is that a screenshot is being taken every time I press the "T" button to throw a stone. Can the screenshot button be remapped?
