    Dual Core support (AGAIN)

    Hi.
I just preorded FC4 about month ago. I was looking at hw spec. to know if i can run (because i know my pc isnt the most powerful) it. I finded out that it is ok - better than minimum - (still playing fc3 on max on 50-60fps). And i was so excited about FC4 . But....when the game arrived, i installed it and everything looks good but when i wanted to start the game .... black screen/no responding... First they said to try unplug/disable usb devices .... i did .. i was playing with it for 2 hours and nothing changed . But patch was promised so i waited. I waited 1 week for 1.4 ... for 1 week.... i did not have to preorder it.... i did not have to pay "full release" money for that to our local dealer but what could i know.. etc. But when 1.4 arrived i was happy again but nothing really happened. After many re installs i looked here again.... and what do i see ..problem with dual core cpus .....Really? Nothing about it before players found it out..... after this time you were lying to us the price goes down and when i see you cant even answer on question about patch which can fix it! When somebody send here a link from third side you remove it and you close the topic! And if i say you that programs from third sides are working mostly on cracked games you would not be surprised...... So i have to uninstall my official game for 60 dollars and install a cracked one to actually play this game? Really ubisoft? If you cant even answer if the "dual core" patch will came out .. than ***** you and im harmless normally but hopelessness like this make me angry ....
All anger will be gone with "YES" answer on question : "Will be released any patch that will support dual core cpus?". If "NO" i hope the petition will change your mind!!!
    Thank you very much

Sorry for my english - im not native english speaker.

    Oh, yeah?

Shame on you, Ubisoft, for blocking this intentionally. If a third party modder can fix it, it's not something that you can't do.

I'm so done with this company.

Ubisoft lies, the game works great on dual core cpus, there are no reason to block it, it is intentionally checking if you have 32 cores and then blocks it, shame on you ubi.

There is a 100% save and working unofficial fix, just look for injector easyhook dualcore in google.

They can't stop this, ubisoft should really fix this for the paying customers, illegal users don't have any problems, only those with dual cores that have PAID for it!

Found out that the fix works for legal users too. Start Uplay, start the game, then start the injector when you see the splash screen with the Far Cry 4 logo. No need to use illegal cracks.

But yeah, it's quite shameful that Ubisoft intentionally blocked it from working on dual cores.

Yeah it's work for legal users too, but it is a shame that it is not working out of the box, that they need to bother and looking for a solution that should be provided by ubisoft to their loyal and paying customers.

Oh, and this software is not a crack, it has nothing to do with this kind of software.

But i'm not 100% sure that a legal user would want to risk a ban on fc4 online, the dual core fix works like most cheating software, but is th only way to play it on dual core for now, so i will say this is especially shameful that ubisoft even blocked dual cores in the first place, they don't want to sell a working product to dual core owners, i don't get it?

I don't either. As recently as two month before the release, web sites were still publishing minimum system requirements for this game that said it would play with Core 2 Duo CPUs. The last minute change is baffling. And to find out that code was then written into the game to actually "prevent" them from working, when they could work, is even stranger.

Seems to be some odd kind of new trend. To make their games seem high tech? Or having some kind of deal with hardware vendors? No one knows. Sledgehammer games did the same thing with CoD:AW. They patched it out when a third party fix appeared, though. Have to wait and see how Ubisoft would respond, or whether they'd even respond at all.
