Has anyone actually been able to play co-op or with their friends at all?

I have yet to download the current patch, However I am now and would like to know if anyone has had success with it?

I downloaded latest patch co op is finally accessible but then get your server type is NAT3 and will be limited and cant find players at all, but again co op is at least accessible unlike before where it wasn't even accessible. Problem now is finding players i have no idea why i have NAT3 type server or why players are never found

Same here. I am finally able to view rank and what not. The error message is gone. But it is telling me my NAT type is Type 3 (which it is not) and then it doesn't connect to anyone and launches me in the mission by myself.

I even forwarded all the ports just to be sure, still telling me I am NAT type 3...I guess this is progress?

    Same Here!

I have NAT type 2 connection (regarding to PS4 system inetrnet connection test), but ACU says i have Type 3, so i cant still play any coop or heist mission. Maybe this game need a new name Assassin's Creed Singularity. I hope they fix this soon.

I was able to play co-op the first time I tried... like the 3rd day this game was out. A friend joined me during a session a time or two. I have completed every co-op mission multiple times. Never had a problem playing co-op with people.

To corroborate- Co-op hasn't worked for me since day 1 until I downloaded and installed Patch 3 today. I submitted ticket ref #01780402 today:

"When I choose to enter multiplayer (co-op) at any time from Unity, I receive the following message:

    Multiplayer
Your NAT type is STRICT (Nat Type 3). You may not be able to join certain games or communicate with other players. Average matchmaking wait times will be adversely affected.

My NAT type is 2 according to the attached screenshot. Before installing the new patch, I wasn't able to enter any co-op sessions. I was able to connect to a game with another player after waiting for about 3-4 minutes, so this is definitely an improvement. I am concerned about the discrepancy between the message and what my NAT type really is.

I'm not going to forward any ports. That shouldn't be a requirement to enjoy a product I paid for so I'd appreciate an update on this issue soon. Faster connection times to co-op would be nice. If 3-4 minutes is the average (I've read elsewhere it's usually 30 seconds), then that's fine. I would like some reassurances and acknowledgement of the issue.

    Thanks!"

Everyone receiving this message with NAT 2, please open a support ticket to point the issue out?

I just played 3 co-op mission with strangers. The game says NAT type 3, but I'm pretty positive it's a visual bug and the game isn't actually restricted.

Always remember, it takes code to make a game show you a notification and that code can be bugged too. Chances are if you ignore the prompt and queue up, you'll find a game. Takes me about 50 seconds to get the mission I want, 20 seconds to queue for any mission.

    Says I have a NAT3 when I actually have NAT2

I received the email and downloaded the patch. My stats are back, as well as the UPLAY link up and running fine.
And as entering into the co-op mode for any available mission, it took a while to even get in. Thing is, when I did I was the only one in the mission. So much for that I guess.

Initially I got this as well,
"Your NAT type is STRICT (Nat Type 3). You may not be able to join certain games or communicate with other players. Average matchmaking wait times will be adversely affected.

Since club competitions aren't going to happen for a while, I'll have to be patient...
