Dear Ubisoft,
I have spent some time regression testing Far Cry 4 on the PC today after your release of Patch 1.4.
Apart from not addressing the most glaring issue in the game (the mouse controls being virtually broken), it seems as if your update has caused a few issues on my end that I wish to report to you.
1. Some key bindings were lost (not a problem) but the binding menu now looks bugged (see screen shot below).
2. Pressing the "map" key will no longer close the map.
3. I picked up a lost letter and received the relevant XP, but the letter has not been unlocked in the in-game menu. I cannot read it.
Please feel free to contact me should you require any further clarifications.
Kindest Regards,
One of the many play testers who recently paid you for the privilege of testing the beta of Far Cry 4 you released.

Further to my initial post, it seems that the problems caused by the 1.4 Patch run much deeper.
My game has now reverted to version 1.0.0 (see screenshot below) and on top of that, I have lost a significant chunk of progress. Collectibles and camps that I know I had completed are now back on the map and the entries have disappeared from the collectibles screen.
What is going on?!

Damn! That sucks.............................guess I'm lucky none of that happened to my game progress (yet). Wouldn't be so bad if there was any kind of reasonable multiple save game system. On second thought................guess that wouldn't really help with lost progress. Still be nice to have more than "one save".Originally Posted by Rogue-9 Go to original post

Waiting is what I do with Ubi's Games (well, if you really want to use such a strong word: "Game" for what they sell)... I save 40 to 50 cheeseburgers, wait and see if the patches will eventually ruin more than what they will fix and then, when all the modders have come true with Fixes, I purchase the game used for 5 to 8 cheeseburgers and get my fix of the Campaign.
UBI's so call Games have always had HUGE potential, unfortunately, their Greediness don't allow for materialization of a finish product. Add this to the fact that we have more Lemmings and Sheep buying everything and anything they see and UBI has a great formula for selling broken titles as finished games.

Delete your HIDInputRemapper.xml and let the game make a new one, should fix your problem.

Has been the same from the start that you can't have separate keys, hopefully they will fix it.Originally Posted by Prutprat Go to original post
