    When can we expect hairworks?

    So, patch 1.4 was supposed to implement Nvidia hairworks, but it didn't.
    When can we expect it to be implemented?
    Since this feature was used to advertise the game, it is a let down that it is still missing.

    It's there, just called "Fur" and not "Hairworks" in the options, also for animals only, not for characters I think (didn't really pay attention to their hair, the textures weren't 4k on their faces so I just couldn't stop staring at some blurrier spots).

    Thats not Nvidia's hairworks but something Ubisoft made. Hairworks looks alot better then that fake hair.

    "Fur" is not hairworks.
    Hairworks adds dynamic fur, that moves, instead of this blurry fur, which looks better than a flat texture, but it is still not quite right.
    I don't know how, but there was a version of the 1.4 patch which was available briefly and included real hairworks, but it got pulled. Some people made videos though:

    Edit: "Realistic credible wildlife". Yeah right, super aggro eagles are so credible.

    They probably have no clue anymore, because of all the uploads and removing of the patches. Pretty sad tbh.

    It is sad it wasn't in the patch. Some people do not even realize it is yet to be enabled.

    It's amazing that they advertise this but completely cut if out of their game, A bit like they advertised Physx smoke and debris in Assassins Creed Black Flag but it took them 6 months to patch it in and even then it ran like a turd with no legs.

    But this feature was already added once. It wasn't bugged or anything, so I do not understand why they decided to remove it from the patch. The original 1.4 patch was 500+ megabytes, while the one they put up later was 39 or something. This means they took out a lot of stuff. I just don't get it.

    No one does bud, It's Ubisoft, Logic and quality testing are 2 things lacking from Ubi.

    I would love to see hairworks properly implemented into FC4 like it was advertised but it's Ubisoft so we'll likely have to either wait 6+ months for a patch or it will simply never come.

    Maybe because it was murdering performance when you decided to kill few animals in same place by throwing bait.
