    Multiple Users Playing the Game

I bought FC4 through UPlay. My wife logged into my PC to start her own campaign but it is prompting her for an activation key. Please someone tell me this isn't locked to just my user playing a single campaign at $70? How do multiple people share the same copy of the game?

Simple: both login to the same Uplay account. There are multiple campaign slots per profile.

I don't see an option for this anywhere, what exactly are you talking about?

sometimes the questions asked here make my teeth itch

how can 2 people play the same game ?

    1 buy another copy

    or

2 both play on the same account

why cant your wife play your game with her uplay account ?

BECAUSE SHE DOESNT HAVE THE GAME ON HER ACCOUNT

give her your account password, but that might also be a reason to ban both your accounts.

Are you suggesting his account should be banned for wanting to share the game with his wife?

There isn't an ingame option or slots actually. The savegames are files on your hard drive. Simplest way to go about it is create a shortcut on your desktop leading to the folder containing the savegames, and then create another folder containing your copies. Turn off cloud sync on Uplay and you're good to go - just be sure to switch out the saves before and after you play

I feel like there has to be some way other than that because it's absurd to be limited to one save when every other platform it was released on supports multiple profiles/saves

Far Cry games have never had more then one save slot for PC I'm sorry to say, so the only way to go is how Mcspanky37 above wrote.
