When my game runs, it has a massive amount of stuttering that perfectly correlates with my GPU usage, but that's not the reason for this post. The reason is when my FC4 game is minimized I have full 95% + GPU usage. When he game is not minimized, my GPU usage fluctuates between 20% and 80%. This is obviously a problem.
Overclocking you CPU AND/OR your GFX Card can have issue's on games causing Artifacts and sometimes clock issues when trying to process games. Say for example your card would not have a problem when running general tasks like web surfing, watching youtube.....Trying to play a games that has a certain requirement will over work your Graphics Card.
I have the same issue - Sometime, when I first boot the game I'll get 50-60 FPS, but then after a bit of play time (say 10 minutes), it drops considerably. According to GPU-Z, my GPU Load sits around 45% when playing - what in the world? Come on Far Cry 4, use ALL of my video cards power, not just 45% of it. This game needs some serious optimization still.
Ubisoft - Any update on a fix for all these issues? We're not the only ones - I continue to see posts like this all over the forums. Thanks!!![]()
The game has been tried by many people ranging from quad Titan Black+5960X systems all the way down to laptops, The game isn't optimized that well, This needs to be fixed on Ubisofts side.Originally Posted by TD-MudBath Go to original post

I don't have anything overclocked atm, but I've tried over, under, and normal clocks. It doesn't matter, the game still stutters really bad and the GPU usage has not changed. My GPU usage is also almost 100% constant in menus.
