Thanks for confirming. At least they made some sort of acknowledgment to the problem. Super stoked for this game, especially playing the coop with my Buddies so it's a huge disappointment to put it on the shelf until they fix it.Originally Posted by Dicehunter-OC3D Go to original post
We need an ETA or some sort of update from them!

learn how the DirectX api and gpu drivers work in relation to game development and the huge range of pc hardware before you make silly statements, the hardware is largely not important as drect x and gpu drivers deal with the specific hardware differences so developers dont have to write code for each specific model of gpu.
And this is why with optimised drivers from amd or nvidia all our old games work perfectly on new hardware without every game having to be optimised or updated.

At the most basic level, DirectX is an interface between the hardware in your PC and Windows itself, part of the Windows API or Application Programming Interface. Let’s look at a practical example. When a game developer wants to play a sound file, it’s simply a case of using the correct library function. When the game runs, this calls the DirectX API, which in turn plays the sound file. The developer doesn’t need to know what type of sound card he’s dealing with, what it’s capable of, or how to talk to it. Microsoft has provided DirectX, and the sound card manufacturer has provided a DirectX-capable driver. He asks for the sound to be played, and it is – whichever machine it runs on.
Put all options on ultra including textures and record a 60fps vid with you driving without stutters- and without stupid mipmaps disabled which in NOT a solution.Originally Posted by pj_3 Go to original post
We need a breath of fresh air in this place people...this game is NOT next-gen and has a serious stuttering issue. Silly comments like this are not helping.Originally Posted by rachealmac Go to original post
If you can Max out Crysis (1,WH,2 & 3), BF4, and even FC3, then there should not be a single issue with maxing this game out unless it's an issue that requires Ubi's support (which it is). There's nothing in FC4 that's a game changer or anything that should cripple the gameplay on rigs that can handle Ultra/NVIDIA settings by producing a stuttering issue like we're experiencing.
If you don't have the issue then please go away and have fun with your game. Both my friends and I DO have the issue along with many others and need it to be addressed. If I can't return the broken product I spent my hard earned $60 on, then Ubi gets all the blame until a fix is produced.

you missed the one where you say to go learn directx or windows as i dont know what i am talking about
oh hang on ....you did that too
yet i clearly have the savvy to know what i am doing and get the game running sweet.
as i said...usual cliche comments from someone who just wants to whine
all you have to do is take the game and your rig to a qualified tech and ask them NICELY to get it running..but i suppose thats too easy
Pfft, you are just looking for a fight, if you don't have the issue WHY ARE YOU ON HERE! You are telling people to go chase some conspiracy theory and not purchase new gear without expecting "older" games to run poorly on a thread where people are trying to communicate a real issue they are having with a new game they just bought.Originally Posted by rachealmac Go to original post
I have lots better things to do with my time and my life. I will setup and run my machine - and game - as I feel I need to, and without asking anyone to help me, or listening to some hobbyist telling me to prove my machine to him. And it's been that way for over thirty years. You just concentrate on learning what you have to do to make your pc fly and stop worrying about mine - ok?Originally Posted by BWX232 Go to original post

Please don't post in my thread anymore. You are not being conducive to the resolution of the issue in anyway and everything you type is painful to read.Originally Posted by pj_3 Go to original post
