The map editor is now about making single player "challenge maps" and missions, and having lots of enemies to fight is a big part of that in my opinion.
I understand that we cannot place down 1000s of enemy AI, but the current limit is ridiculously tiny. Surely the current gen consoles can handle at least 100 enemies? Please increase the amount of enemy's in waves to AT LEAST 20, and that way we could have 100 bad guys. I was looking forward to playing FC4 on the PS4 because I was certain we would be able to add a lot more detail to the map editor, including more enemy AI. It really is sad to see that the current limit is so small.
65 enemies is still a lot of enemies for small to medium sized maps, but for making large forests or cities its not enough for populating them. Its definitely an improvement from FC3 but I had greater expectations for this generation of consoles. I just wish they would have taken the power of the ps4 and xbox one into consideration, and seen it as an opportunity to add more depth and detail. As far as I am aware, the only improvement from last gen to current gen consoles is graphical.
There is almost no leap from last to current gen, and then there is this massive leap up to PC. It should be more like a big leap up from last gen consoles to current, and then another big leap to PC.
I still think the ai limit needs to be raised for ps4/xb1, for people at least. Not sure what the limit Is for animals.
I am also disappointed with the AI limit. Not so much for enemies (I think that 65 enemies is more than enough), but for allies and especially, wildlife!
I hate how adding wildlife subtracts from the AI budget for each wave. I wanted to add a few crows for atmosphere, but to add two crows I needed to delete an enemy. Considering that crows just fly around and don't even attack the player, I find this limitation to be very prominent.
you can add up to 65 enemies but for reasons unknown allies/animals take up a lot of memory space.Originally Posted by Littlebigjoe18 Go to original post
