This all seems pretty good, my opinions are;
I know the Phoenix/Scorpion are not in Fusions plans but what if you could unlock their body kits as a reward?
I also like Teri's idea of the custom paint and wheels, chrome/metallic/matte etc would be very cool and personally I would like spoked wheels for every bike.
I know this is a long shot but at the tournament menu i still believe there should be a catagory for Evo style tournaments with permanent access and lb's so we can improve our times for more personal global score and with the 'team' score.
The suggestion of looking back to some of the older 'great' tracks for inclusion I think should not be forgotten about, understandably you want to focus on the current track selection though.
More rider gear would also be good, it doesn't need to be a whole outfit 'collection', maybe just some quality T-shirts or body warmers? Although a Tuxedo would be funny...
@attilla - it's easy to see that you do not like some of the features in Trials Fusion, but other than being Ubisoft titles there is no correlation between Trials and Assassins Creed. Are you talking about Trials MP or something?
@TRASH - Are you seriously extrapolating full player retention based off of track download averages for one Track Central track on a single platform? That is not how accurate player retention numbers are calculated. You do not base player retention off of such an over simplified statistic such as "500 players played his track out of 500,000 who own the game. Hence Trials retention is 0.1% after 8 months". That's in no way how it works.
@shakey - I will fight tooth and nail for Scorpion and Phoenix body kits. Does that mean it will happen? I have no idea, but I like this suggestion very much. I also like the custom paint ideas. This is good stuff, homies. We are not forgetting out the other UGC tracks, but we are focused on finding the cause for UGC Tournament lookups before adding many more tournaments (we already have a few made). There is discussion about... changing the tournament menu structure, but nothing to talk about right now. Tournaments for Global Score is something that has been discussed a few times, but we really want to take tournaments in a different direction. There is still work to be done and improvements to be made to make the new tournaments what we want them to be.
Are you an Eno trolling here? If so, well done.Originally Posted by ShiftySamurai Go to original post
Now for the fourth time. I said TRACK CENTRAL retention...over and over. I commend the trolling though.
What yoyo bases the main game player retention for those who regularly play track central. 2 different things.
Oh, Happy Thanksgiving.
you are not getting trolled. What analysis are you getting to get these figures apart from words? No way can you even pretend to calculate everything going on in track central . They are just analyzing that you are wrong with your player retention and saying why, through your analysis.
Happy thanksgiving.
does the fact that only 500 players will dl and ride user tracks not even concern your company anymore . ? theres tracks on evo wilh 500.000 dl .i think thats where vegas is basing his numbers . i mean you obviously have a different way of calculating . but the editor and customs are what we see .on a daily basis .Originally Posted by ShiftySamurai Go to original post
If you have a fancy algorithm to determine track central player retention, that is your own thing. I'm speaking about downloads vs game owners.
550k owners...top track for the week receives 1200 downloads. This equates to 1/5th of a percent...not even half of a percent of the people who own the game care enough to even download the number one track.
Am I wrong here too? Forget the "retention equation" just simple math will tell you this.
This then translates into telling me....almost nobody who bought Fusion plays track central. Am I also wrong here?
You guys are quite funny, I'll be honest.
I have nothing against you, but you keep holding on to the term of retention, yet time and time again I show through math that a minuscule percentage of owners even touch track central...or regularly do. And I don't believe the Ubilynx retention algorithm would yield a much higher rate of player retention on track central.
Where is that gif someone used for Funktastics where they were smashing their fist through their face....use here...haha
Let's see when multiplayer is released. Maybe there will be a few thousand people on the leaderboard, but you'll say it was a huge hit...come on.
It's also interesting to note that others understand the point, yet everyone from Ubilynx doesn't. Maybe ask, how can we launch a stronger overall game to keep people interested in the next title longer, than challenge what "retention" means and how it's calculated.
Is retention measured on uploads and stuff like that in tc because if so then it might look ok if the game wants to put quantity over quality. The easy amd medium feeds are impossibe to want to create but there is loads of uploads but not hardly any decent tracks because your lucky to get even 300 downloads or for them to stay there even half a day. Facts are good to use as a whole but dont always tell the correct story to actually whats happening. If the retention in track central is just measured on uploads then fine it might look good for 7 months in for a place to upload chunk which i imagine is also a big factor for young ones and so forth. If the game wants to be know for a quality place to upload creative art then facts do not show this and i think this is the main problem within these debates. Alot of us take this game serious and are true core fans or wouldnt continue to try and give feedback to create a better building enviroment. There is players who actually want to create decent tracks but are faced with to many uphills that is causing hardly any decent tracks to be built within track central. There is people in tc who can make decent tracks and there is people who dont come and play this game and maybe this question should be being asked, why dont they ?.
To alot of us , this game is a place to create art and let people be apart of it but it the facts and figures of this game and the way its all measured does not take this into account so i suppose it comes down to what type of game is this ? a place to create art or a place for a mess around and to kill bordem and i think which i may not be right but what i see in tc is that the games value is based more on the latter. no harm meant yet alot of the people working for this game class it as a place to create art and fun of course
Facts and figures dont always paint the picture that is truely being created. There could be so many more download and so many more builders because there is the builders out there who can and want too so why not try and entice them back into the game instead of looking at facts and figures and say well that says we are ok so we must be. If there is a group of people that havent been reached then it onlymakes sense to find out why and reach them. This would make the facts and figures look even better which i think is good buisness sense. We know there is people out there who arent playing so why ?
cheers and its nearly christmas... didnt make it to the stores for black friday , then again would have only been one item that was on offer anyhow lol. cheers guys
decorations go up at the weekend whoooo whoooo![]()

- no multiplayer, this in my opinion has played a huge role in why track central has not seen nearly as many downloads as usually. This has created a slippery slope. No multiplayer means big youtube channels like roosterteeth can't upload multiplayer videos highlighting custom tracks. Basically this means track central gets a lot less exposure.
- The fact that there is now four separate platforms for trials fusion has impacted the amount of track downloads as well. It's not fair to compare a track that got 500k downloads to one that got only 2k on fusion.
Having said that I do think that redlynx's calculations of retention are skewed. I just wanted to throw in a few things that have impacted it. Not saying they have had a huge impact but these factors to play a part in why numbers are so low.
