    Far Cry 4 Fatal Error

OK, whenever I try to change the settings, I get en error message.

"File System failure Aborting execution. C:\Users\Siva\Documents\My Games\Far Cry4\6fb050e5-d411-467c-ab3e-dllb3ca6009\GamerProfile.xml"

The only thing I changed in the Gamer Profile xml file is the iron sight toggle to 1.

    Please advise. Thanks!

The lack of response is very discouraging.

I am getting the exact same error, and is VERY annoying. Every time I start the game I have to delete the file in my folder, and then reset all my settings.

    Any solutions Ubisoft?

Real late but make sure your GamerProfile.xml is not set to "read only" if it is set to this then it will crash when you try to change settings.

I know this is a bit of a necro post. But I think I found out one of the reasons FC4 can fail starting with that error. If you have windows Defender activated and ransomware protection turned on, it will stop programs doing changes to the filesystem in certain places. So just disable windows defender to confirm this is what is happening in your case. If FC4 runs afterwards, it's because of the ransomware protection. Just go to the settings and allow either Uplay or Steam (in my case) on the exception list. Tadaam! Far Cry4 is now functional.
