dude there's a skirmish every 30 seconds happening and sometimes they get to be quite epic with lots of soldiers; where it's usually a 4 on 4 bout if you stick around sometimes more enemies will show up and you get to see larger skirmishes and if there's a mortar in the area you had better watch out.
really? are you talking about the karma events? because all i've seen in my dozen of gameplay hours is about 4 on 4 or 2 on 2 or something really small. im with the OP here. no mortars, no additional enemies.... only if a skirmish is near an outpost than i can imagine the outpost men coming to help the enemies, or if there is a jeep accidentally passing by.... but not by deisgn....Originally Posted by LukeLeopard Go to original post
the bigger skirmishes tend to happen in the northern part of kyrat, when you're driving by there are machine gun nest and mortars by the side of the road that the royal army or golden path will use against each other.Originally Posted by topeira1980 Go to original post
Yeah it's a karma event, all the skirmishes are karma(random) events and it's normally just four on four firefights but if you stay in the area long enough you'll encounter more royal army patrols and golden path that will fight.
follow what direction the gunfire is coming from if you want to see the full fight.
thanks again, lukethis is the second thread you seem to be really helpful in.
though i gotta say that once i get to the karma event and kill one or two loyalist the gun fire stops and there is no more gun sounds to follow.... but we'll see what happens later in the game. im just at the southern part for now.
they are so frequent that i ignore them now, because they always trigger when i'm on the way to exterminate some other thing and i certainly not turn back for such none sense...
But i love how Cars fly away from a single well placed grenade, one car fly over a river and stuck in a tree... Realistic? No! But at least fun.....Also killing those lame Wolfes with Knives give you enough Karma....
