have u ever played evo . i just wandered why you wouldnt build on from such a loved game .

I played Evo (after Fusion). It has its good sides and bad sides.

I definitely believe Fusion is better and will be even much better in the future.

I think the nostalgia doesn't help to assess the quality of a game.

For example, I firmly believe WoW Vanilla is the best MMO I ever played, 40 men raiding, real feeling of achievement etc...
However, I was part of the core community and I can understand why Blizzard went in a direction that was suiting me less.
I also believe people starting WoW now would really think WoW Vanilla was not that great if they would try it now.

I think the same thing happens with Trials.

Hmm, makes me wonder about the 3D Goggles...Trials in 3D...YUMMIEEEE!!

i play evo gold regularly but it doesn't run good on my laptop . thats why im getting a 360 again so no nostalgia . i mean your wow analogy is pretty much how i feel about trials atm . thanks for your answer

Sry for asking but is MP Beta dead or is my Inet going bezerk ... I know that is prob the reason for this Thread but I searched 10 min today and was not able to find any players. Is it like this for everyone?

I don't really like the new tomb, FFX I however still like my Forza, some iterations of Need for Speed, Halo and Blizzard Strategy Games. You make it sound like new is always better XD, when this is not always the case. However Trials Fusion is critically highly acclaimed so I can see that I am being a spoiled fanboy to some extend when it boils down to it. I though also believe that critics don't really test a game as throughfully as I as a Fan of the Series would meaning I might see more little details that bug me out.

Sorry if this goes way off-topic.

Funny discussion cause I went from 9 years of WoW (Sept. 2004 US beta till second to last Pandaria patch, moved to EU in 2008), into Trials Evo Gold around April 2013.

You might wonder, why the jump from WoW to Trials, it's because of a Youtuber (MikeB) Played WoW, and also played Trials so at some point I saw those game review series he had (BFF Report), and the Will it Donkey/TETS videos got me really interested cause of the custom content!

On topic: I am more in beta now then the live game but that's cause I am building a 8 lane track. But yes I agree some visual clue if others are playing would be nice at some point.

Yes, I think this is for most people.
Unfortunately there are more people complaining about MP than people who participate and try to play the Beta to find bugs/improvements.

I think I should explain myself a bit with differernt words//
New isn't always better, far from that but it's different for most people changes (also in a game) are hard(er) to manage or to accept and I think this is the case also a bit with Fusion and Evolution.
This is't a attack on those who like Evolution more then Trials, far from it, I do understand them completely in many ways because on many occasions I felt exactly the same with other games.
I've played many games which became series and several of them changed in certain ways which made me think "Why-O-Why did they change this???" (like other battle system or different mapping)

Improvements always goes also with ups & downs and takes also a lot of effort, this is how it's been forever and this is also how we went to the moon, first a few explosions and failures but eventually we came there. (I hope this won't start the discussion IF we were on the moon for real..lol)
