    Already cheaters on leaderboards?

So I decided to do some Kyrati Racing missions, see if I can get on the leaderboard. Done a race, you have to do a near perfect run to even beat the gold requirement of 1m 05s, let alone beat the people on the board. But one guy, has 33s ,that's half a minute less, it's literally impossible, you have to get through 24 checkpoints, there's not corner cutting possible. The only way I can think of doing something like that is if you can somehow trick the game into letting you take another vehicle instead pf the quad (maybe the buzzer would be fast enough).

Is it a bug, an exploit, a cheat? Either way it should be looked into otherwise in a couple of weeks all the leaderboards will be filled unbeatable and unrealistic times.

Yes they are cheating and it's no suprise as it was rampant in Black flag as players had 45234536874569 ships sunk and there were about 20,000 of them with that same exact score. I reported it with screen shot and they were all gone a week later.

Yes, of course. It's very easy to cheat on multiplayer-games like this.
    There is basically no protection.

All you can do is to report these players. Hopefully Ubisoft takes it seriously and ban these players.

Disappointing really, there should be some anti-cheat protection on a AAA title such as this.

It happens every time, yet Ubisoft includes leaderboards in nearly every game. It's really, really annoying that they keep including leaderboards when the list is always full of cheaters instantly. It's like bumping into a power fence over and over because you're unable to learn from your mistakes. Far Cry 3 had a way better solution, where you only competed against your Uplay friends. That actually made sense.

Lag switch is what it was called. You hock the updating line that is in you're ethernet cable and into a light switch just before it goes into you're computer.

Not everyone cheats though. I once was a satellite user, had pings of 4,000ms. People left the server cause the lag got out of control eventually because the network was working twice as hard to get the new updates in and new updates sent out.

They are using a cheat that freezes the timer, then they turn the timer on again when they are close to the finish line.

People are so sad. Why even bother installing a game if you're going to cheat? I will never understand it. I remember when I was 12 I hated using IDKFA or IDDQD because I felt like I was giving up.

You should ask all these developer who implement cheat-codes for their singleplayer games.
Maybe you would not even cheat today if they had not started with it.

There's also some weird timing going on though. I ran this course for the full time, just under 58 seconds and here's what it shows my time is... 10.6 seconds.
Either I had 10.6 seconds left on the clock, or I am reading this wrong. Not cheating, or not that I know of.
