The Far Cry format has the potential to create an incredible story and stir in excellent characters and unforgettable moments. FC 3 had a lot of connections to characters, great drivers of action in the story. 4 had memorable characters, but no great connections or drivers in the story. Nothing that really made you want to know what was going to happen next. This format the Far Cry series has going is amazing and there's much to be explored.

Character connections. Far Cry 4 does not have enough.

There is appeal to Amita and Sabal and Pagan. Paul and Noore were the best characters in FC4. They were complex, believable, and had enough face time to be characters, and not just background voices.

But so many characters fell flat. Rabi Ray Rana has cringe worthy bad lines. Longinus is cool and great visually and has an arc and interesting setups to his missions, but his lines too are not 'tight'. He Rambles way too much. Hurk had potential but again, his character falls flat. Willis in 4 is great, but not as good as 3. Willis doesn't have the likeability in 4. Reggie and Yogi were abysmal. Rambling, not funny, not cool, really there's not much to like.

The main character should connect with the game characters like in 3 with family, friends, a girl friend and interesting people on the island, characters that he likes and wants to connect with, not just a posse of weirdos like in FC4. These characters build the story, the suspense, and give purpose and meaning to the action and make it so the gamer feels compelled and is excited to do the next mission.

Bottom line, there needs to be character development. People changing in interesting, funny, and amazing ways as a result of what is happening in the story. More character arcs, please.

Far Cry is at the stage where it's time to call in the big guns for story oversight, dialogue, comedy, and character acting. Really, there should be two directors, one is the video game director and overall lead, the second should be the story/character director that makes sure the dialogue is tight and the humor is funny, and there's authenticity in emotion.

I'm not saying the voice acting was bad in 4. It was great. The voice actors all did superb jobs. They just didn't have good lines.

In a setting like Escape from New York with different gangs fighting for control over the burnt out city would be cool, throw in a massive overgrown Central Park like area for a change of scenery.

Microcosmos, where main protagonist (whatever species that will be) is shrinked and everything that we deem usual size is just huge. Kind of like Carpet People, Gulliver or Maya The Bee, just a tad more gory to be considered a fairy-tale Set somewhere in backyard, jungle = your lawn and everything around. Conquering old rusty can as an outpost? Sign me up!

I would like to see something with samurai's. Maybe a modern day Japan. I wouldn't mind them going back to Africa like FC2 either. I loved that game.

Also would love to have a massive free roam with like 30 players and faction or mercenary crews you could join. Co-op like FC4 and story Co-op too.

I dont relly like the look of ICE and SNOW on Far Cry 4 it does not look as good as I thought it was going to maybe if they had of added big glacier or something. Also I miss the tanker ships from Far Cry 3 should bring those back or cruise ships could have a crues ship if set in greek islands.
look i live in greece and our islands haven't got any dangerous creatures or many plants so i dn't think so thas is the best location

These are the places I would like to see them go to

Australia - To keep it fresh we'll need new animals to interact with, Australia has a slew of unique and deadly ones, then there's the chance to ride a kangaroo and get kicked by one too, the aborigines will provide that mystical element to it.

North Korea - The way how the country is right now is perfect for a far cry story, the character could be just stepping into an over trow attempt, the map would be huge and the military would be powerful. I want to see tanks in the game, i think this location can pull it off.

If the Dinosaurs was a DLC remix of the game type of thing I would definitely get on that.
