Here's a link to a very high-res preview picture of when the DLC were announced , kinda surprised me to see the real-world brand names/logos (most are reversed) in the DLC 5 picture but then again, it's just concept art

the atmosphere of the picture "WELCOME TO THE ABYSS" is not identical to the DLC of the same name

do not rejoice too quickly from one image .... it's true that "chains and lava" make me a little dreaming .... but oddly, I think we will have none of it. ...

This DLC and the last are the ones I'm most curious about. I'd imagine this DLC should be out fairly soon, as in, the next few weeks. I wouldn't be surprised if it were this week, even.

doubt they will bring it out around crimbo as not many will be making tracks as it and there will be a reduced amount of gamers playing trials as other games are opened at crimbo. So i would have thought it will be like the whispers are saying sometime middle of the month , when things have died down and attention once again returns to playing this and making tracks. Too many people partying to stuffed with turkey through the festive season to pbe playing game lol

I'd very much like to know if it's releasing next week before Crimbo. I need to plan beers in and the like.

I expect it will drop with the MP in the new year around the 3rd-4th. But saying that RL will probably still be on Holidays.

Still no word on the 'Fire In The Deep' DLC

from what I gather from a thread in the multiplayer section, the MP update is in certification at MS & Sony...that update will hit first, possibly within 2 weeks, but maybe longer...then the next DLC will hit shortly after, possibly 2 weeks after assuming that it gets into certification at the time of the MP update release [average certification time is about 2 weeks, but, with how fusion runs on 360, we - the 360 players - may have to wait a little longer, though I have no real information on this, but I get the horrid feeling that it will fail cert on 360 and we'll be in for another few weeks waiting]


as for the rest of the DLC, well, I assume that the level design team & the MP team are separate entities, so this wait for the update should not affect the creation of the DLC's...things have probably being going on behind the scenes to try and reign in the performance issues and make sure the new tracks run without many issues, they always have some, but that could be relating to my aging hardware more than the game

I cant wait for the next DLC, I'm getting a little bored of the same few tracks, and don't have gold sub so MP currently not important to me [on 360, I have Fusion on PC too, but my elderly PC finds ways to make it run worse than it does on 360]

I now have a new policy I will try to implement, if it is not of use, or not funny, i'll keep my mouth shut [figure of speech, i'll shout like a fascist at my PC, but not type it here unless it contains constructive criticism]...this will hopefully allow me to comply with the forum rules, and leave shifty a few less posts to delete or work out if I'm being offensive whilst stroking his fluffy banhammer [the weekly one, don't think I ever go close to earning a slap from colossus, I usually delete those bits from my posts before clicking submit]


One quick word to the higher ups [as if they read this] - please can you let the team release information in a more timely manner, these guys take a lot of flak because they're not allowed to say things...and for the love of something....don't make them rush things out, I would rather wait a little for higher quality

And finally, hope nobody is affected by what has just been going down in France, horrible few days for you guys, condolences where required - same goes to any others affected by previous instances around the world....almost lost for words as to what this world is coming to....its converted me from being a troll to being an almost nice guy, but I wouldn't say i've quite gone that far, I don't remember how to be nice

That could well happen, Funk. They have until mid April and I believe that'll be a year up.
