REAL Day/Night cycle (like in FC2)

Anyone else noticed the night is only progressing when you move?(don't know about the day , must be the same only slower i guess)
the moment you stand still (not looking around either),
    it stops progressing!

I noticed a post about this, not a very old one too!
But i can't seem to find it anymore!

They never should have discarded the day/night cycle from farcry 2!
Best cycle from the farcry series IMO!

There i litterely watched the sun come up while sitting idle, in a jeep!
    Just gorgeous!
(After that , it was bright enough to go clear the camp where i was waiting nearby)

But how did this happen? How can this be anywhere near acceptable?
Especially when you have a great working one on a previous project!(fc2)

You mind as well go with scripted weather templates, like mafia 2

This should definitely be taken care off, i find this extremely gamebreaking!

But seeing how there are many complaints about more depressing bugs/glitches/crashes,
to the extend of even unable to play the freaking game!

So this should not be a priority
But still must be adressed eventually!

    It totally breaks the atmosphere!

Far Cry 3's sun moves from west to east across the sky. Ya know, like, backwards. If they didn't bother to fix that, I highly doubt they'll do anything about this.

Yeah i know ubi isn't very consumer friendly,
i think best bet will be modding!

We can use the tools for farcry 3 so that's a start!
and like in farcry 3 some day/night cycle settings are tweakable!
    haven't tried anything yet though!

lol yeah good luck with that, yet again devs leave things in a mess and thankfully on PC modders usually come to fix it. thank **** for modders basically as without them a lot of games would never get fixed!.
