Hey drivers!
We just released a pretty in depth, extensive look at The Crew's handling system.
Find everything you want to know, from what parts affect your car's handling, what the different driving assistance modes do, how to tweak your steering wheel, and much, much more in the news post that can be found here
I hope that clears some things up for you
See you soon!
the point is that not everyone uses wheelOriginally Posted by asmolnyi Go to original postand as you see, ABS is always on, some assist are pointless with wheel and what remains is only 1 and you cant create 3 different settings with 1 on/off variable

Does this count for the Xbox 360 version as well or are we to expect something totally different for that version? So far we've got no clue if any of the news applies to the 360 version as well, since no one informs us about that. With just over a week to go it would be nice to know a little about that as well and what info does or doesn't apply to it.
Exactly, but for gamepads there is another spreadsheetOriginally Posted by MaXiiczek Go to original postSo the question is still alive.
I thought that was odd as well.Originally Posted by asmolnyi Go to original post
If that's the case there must be something else that sets apart sport and hardcore mode for wheel users...
anyway this graphic explains why so many wheel users on hardcore mode felt that there were still some assists on. Yuuup.

+1 to this.
This just ridiculous!
Why can't you give us the on off option?
Almost every race minded game has it. Every serious race game has it (The crew isn't sim but arcade, but should still have the option).
No differences should be made between keybords, game pads and wheels. Customers of the game should select it to their preferences.
Everybody the same options doesn't push anybody in the dark like it is now. On top of that nobody has advantages.
(steering wheels take a lot of space that I don't have so that's a no go for me). Now i am getting a cold sholder and can't have a full game experience! (I use game pads)
Assist that are on will most likely work against the player like in all other games.
I don't care what kind of race game it is, if I want everything off it should be off.
In forza if someone overtakes me,t it's true.
Probably in the crew I will get screwed by the system slowing my car down, because i am steering fast at a big angle while driving fast(Steering speed Help).
(I think i am not able to steer much at high speeds and more at low speeds).
The fun for me no matter game pad or wheel is to be able to control my brake pressure so I don't slide with the car because of wheel locking. (In every game I managed it).
If it locks it's fun to get out of the lock and stabilize my car and continue (especially in turns).
Why can't we guys (majority of gaming do that??? Because ABS is always on for game pads and not for steering wheels). No full game experience.
summarizing everything
hardcore should be hardcore no matter what kind off accessory you use (keyboard, game pad or steering wheel). (traction control, ABS and maybe more like Stability control)
Every type of weird help assist should be able to turned off steering speed and counter steering.
Every option should be standalone on or off.
Everybody should be able tot have the same advantages and disadvantages.
How could Ivory Tower not been able to see these problems (like the problem with weird button control layout (shifting).
Shifting is going to get fixed but after the games launch.
No pc beta again. I don't care if it's stress testing if you test as a OPEN beta it should be for every platform including the older 360. (everybody has same amount of beta's).
I have the feeling this game is going downwards the more we / I know.
