Loving the game so far but what's up with the ultra aggressive eagles? I get that Ubisoft might be wanting to create a sense of danger, where you can be attacked at any time if you just stand around in the wilderness. That's fine, but there must be a better way than suicidal eagles. What pissed me off even more last night was when i got pecked for the 16th time, I just stopped and stood still waiting for it to swoop again so I could give it some of my AK. But it just flew away! So they are not even attacking out of hunger, but pure pleasure and sadism.
I'm sure eagles have attacked humans in real life but in no way are they sworn enemies like they are represented in the game. They are not hard to deal with, but extremely annoying!
What's up with any animal really?
This has been an issue even in Far Cry 3. Animals tend to avoid humans, even dangerous ones. I wouldn't mind big cats attacking me, but freaking eagles going aggro for no reason is just weird,
I also don't like the fact that animals tend to band up. In a 50 meter radius I was attacked by a wolf, a leopard and almost got trampled by a rhino. It was quite comical really, like the start of a bad joke: the wolf, the leopard and the rhino are walking in the forest...
I wish animals were less aggressive. Apart from a select few, most should avoid the player and only attack when they are cornered.
