Instead of releasing an unfinished, untested game on 'x' date........why not postpone it until its fixed or atleast erm..tested properly.
Just saying like.........
*copies and pastes thread to every EA game*
I'm not trying to be nasty , just dissapointed that yet another company releases another unfinished and untested PC game and expects it to be acceptable. Day zero games now should be avoided. Nearly every game now comes with game-breaking flaws or day 1-3 patches. Shocking.

Sheep:
I know it's a great deal of fun (maybe even fashionable?) to rail against UbiSoft, but the simple heart of the matter is for the vast majority of people, the game simply works. I have no problems, video performance on my GTX 580 is better than expected, no mouse issues, and my shadows and animal fur are very convincing.
Remember, this is the forum of choice for FC4 issues, and if the hundreds of thousands or millions (by now) of customers all had problems as you insit they in essence, well, the page and post counts would be staggering.
They're not.
Sure, there are people that chime in on other unrelated threads to give themselves another opportunity to display their venting prowess, but the fact is a vast majority of people are having issues. I guess the rest of us are just lucky.
Usually the people who have no issues playing a game don't have time to post on forum or tell others how much fun they are having... once a game is out, the majority of people posting will be those who CAN NOT play said game, hence, why the forum posts have increase and those posts are hardly positive to say the least.
Now, being said that, the same people having problems are the same people that will go ahead and pre-order the next title from UBI or EA or Activision and then go cry on their forums about how much the game suck and how much they were looking forward to playing it. To those people I say... GROW UP and quit giving your money (hard earn or not) so easily and if enough of you do it, Companies like UBI, EA & Activision will be forced to finish their games before launch date, otherwise, keep on crying because this is the Norm now.
In case you did not understand what I meant, here it is... STOP buying games sight unseen, wait a few days (the world will not end if you wait, I promise you it won't, it will be still here tomorrow and you don't have to be the first to master the game and go post your videos on youtube so you can have a hard one while you show your peeps you finish the game first). Wait until all the patches are done and see if the game is still playable or not, by then, instead of paying full price (or more if you buy into the gimmicks of paying more for nonsense items), you can pay half and if you are like me, pay about 5 to 8 bucks a month or so from now (as a used sale so the money does not go to UBI), and enjoy the campaign and then give it to someone as a gift.
More like 2 years for it to be $5 or less. People want to be the first one to play it and enjoy. Slow down, you don't have to purchase right away (pre order) and you don't have to sit and watch others enjoy it via YT, just don't watch the let's play's.. I haven't gotten to play FC4 yet and i only seen 1 (one) gameplay footage of the game before it came out. You should wait indeed for 2 months or 6 months for a bunch of updates to come out, this will take care of alot of problems.Originally Posted by GiveMeTactical Go to original post
If you're going to pre order, see about it with friends/family how it is when they buy it on release, don't like it, cancel the pre order. I did this with FC3 then 2 years later I buy it on sale through steam allong with FC2, blood dragon, DLC's, FC1. Only paid $10
Just adding my two cents here.
If any mods/developers working for Ubisoft see my post, think back to when you were PASSIONATE about gaming. Think back to your childhood maybe, or a time where you spent 24 hours straight playing a video game.
Now turn that passion into fuel... Fuel for releasing an amazing game that runs well on release.
Play test it until you are blue in the face. Push back the release a few months if you think you are going to need it. Don't cave in to the higher ups and your "set release date".
It really makes me genuinely sad when I get excited to play a new game (my most favorite past-time in the whole world is gaming) and it is just an unplayable mess that feels like it's barely out of alpha stages.
Please please move forwards.. not backwards. I just don't understand how you could go BACKWARDS from the development you made on the Dunia 2 engine for Far Cry 3.
Far Cry 3 ran well.
Far Cry 4 doesn't.
I don't understand.
