Strange Controller menu and gameplay issues

    Hi!

I wonder if anyone can help with a few issues I'm having on one of my PC's, CPU is an AMD4170 and I have a GTX660 and 8gb Ram, Windows 7 is my OS.

When I first started the Game I had my xBox360 pad connected and all the menu's have defaulted to game pad controls and there is no mouse pointer in any of the menu's (very annoying!) I can't seem to find an option to change back, even starting the game with no pad connected and it's the same. Any idea's?

This also effects the in game control prompts so it's not much help when I'm playing Mouse & Keyboard. There is a further strange issue, after I interact with an object or open the menu with the 'esc' key my weapon is drawn (like I'm holding the right mouse button but I'm not) and my player is slowly drifting to the left. This corrects it's self as soon as I start to move the player.

I've checked that I've not duplicated any control bindings, I'm not sure what else to do as along with the mouse input judder it's making this game totally unplayable for me.

I have the latest NVidia Drivers and game is patched of course.

These above issues don't happen on my other system which is an i5 with Radeon 7950 also with Win7 and 8gb Ram but the mouse input judder is even worse on that rig, I can really only play it with a Gamepad and in that case I might as well have bought the console version!

I just want to play Far Cry 4 with a Mouse and Keyboard, surely that's not too much to ask from a FPS?

    Thanks in advance

OK this is solved, my Logitech racing wheel although turned off was left plugged in and after unplugging no more problem!

Still waiting for a fix for the mouse input lag but reducing the speed has made it a little more bearable.
