Link for Far Cry 4 patch

Uplay will not update my game. I am still at version 1.01, and I can't find a download for the new patch anywhere.I am beyond frustrated right now. If they don't have a manual download location for the patch because they don't want pirates downloading it news flash: They probably already have it. While I, a paying customer who bought the game and the season pass am having a horrible experience. This is unacceptable.

You can download the patch files on a torrent site and then paste them in where the patch files are located. Its not right, but it works. I've been able to get all the patches sooner this way than through Uplay. This is we we get for pre ordering a broken game. *comment removed*

Last time I give Ubisoft a dime.

Click on the little box with lines on it in your games menu on the Uplay browser and then an options menu will pop up, Verify files should be one of those options.

    another disgusted customer

I have the same problem, I'm stuck on 1.0.1 too.

I started verifying but it wants me to download the entire game again.

No thanks, I'm not leaving my pc on for another 2 days while it re-downloads the game.

Ubi is quickly dominating the top 10 worst game launches in history list.

Yeah a hundred times. I stuck up for this particular part of Ubisoft Montreal for a long time. They are the same dev studio as the AC guys, but it is a separate team altogether that does Far Cry with very little cross over in employees. The games are developed contemporaneously so I can't be the same people. There has never been a bad Far Cry launch to date before so I didn't think we'd get one now. They had a whole extra year then the AC clowns, and are building on a known framework in Dunia 2. It should not be like this. There is zero excuse for a release this far off the mark. I have 3 Titans in one PC and 3 980's in another. I always play games at 7680x1440p resolution. I can't even get a stable experience at 5760 x 1080 let alone higher, and I am not playing this on one monitor period. I refuse to downgrade my experience because of other peoples incompetence. Now I am so irritated I can't even find the words to explain. Even Far Cry 3 was a solid launch, it had a few bugs yes, but it was complete, very well polished, and 100 times better optimized than this crap. I worked at Microsoft for 10 years and even they aren't this bad. Now I work for Canonical and am not used to this level of garbage code. It is alright though. I've already began making an updated version of gibbed Dunia 2 tools, and I'll fix this **** my damn self if they won't. I know Direct X and all these Windows driver stacks like nobody's business I WILL fix this no matter the cost. I'm so pissed off I call in sick for a week, take 2 Nuvigils, shut the lights off in my back office and get this done.

As far as getting the patch from a pirate site, I know, I though about it and it's a shame they have a better version, but I also refuse to do that. I am not contributing or giving them any traffic. I am a programmer and I take special offense to piracy, but mainly I won't just for the simple fact that I shouldn't damn have to.
