    Russian-only restriction!?

    Hello, guys in Ubi!

I live in Russia. And it seems to many players here, that region-restrictions are a bad thing to all game-playing community. I purchased YOUR game with my money in Steam, and get fooled at all. By purchasing the Gold Edition on pre-order to get an acting voices and videos only in Russian - it's just disgusting!
Russian-speaking players do not need French, or German, or, hell, any other blah-blah-blah-ish - PLEASE, leave at least an access to the English cinematics, voices and subtitles, - THE ORIGINAL ENGLISH to play the game, PLEASE!
We are on the reservation? or what?
That my opinion and everyone can say so - by paying the product with real money, and note this! - without downloading the game from torrents to play.
I know English well, so let me decide how I should to play the game and what language to choose.

In addition, there exists an another problem otherwise - Russian-speaking players, who live in other countries, can't choose Russian language to play. That is just ridiculous. All of us get fooled by you. Thanks!

P.S. They say, there are 15 (yeah, fifteen!) languages in this game to play, but... not for everyone.

Totally agree. More so, I pre-purchased this game on Steam, and guess what – the message about Russian language restriction appeared only AFTER it was released and long after I paid for it. Personally I would have never bought this game if I knew this in advance. As I suspected, voice acting is terrible, and translation is sometimes downright wrong. But it doesn't even matter – I bought this game knowing that I will be able to play it in original its language, English. And now it appears that I can't, and Ubisoft didn't even warn us about it.

So, any response from Ubi-officials on this OFFICIAL forum?

If no decision is made in respect of players, officially bought the game, and experiencing the problem - there is a request for a refund. We do not care.

Support replied to me with one line — write to those from whom you bought this game. Very helpful. :/ It's your policy has led to this situation, Steam is just a mean of distribution.
